This must have happened a few months ago when I updated.. I've had this car almost two years and never remember it doing this previously. Maybe it's from an Iphone update? My car's up to date and my phone is an iphone 6 running iOS 9.2.1.
When I use SIRI to text someone or to show traffic while driving, it changes my stereo's audio source to my Iphone. It also picks up on some random podcast that I listened to last and starts it over. I think it used to switch back to whatever I was listening to, and would even let me use Siri for traffic for example WHILE listening to the radio.
Now it doesn't switch back to Sirius, Radio, or USB drive automatically (even if I just used Siri for 1 second) which doesn't seem right at all. So I need to press Source 6x to find what I was listening to before. And I wasn't listening to that podcast before so why does it start now?
Maybe the worst part is, after switching inputs around, it seems to restart the audio book or whatever it was that I was listening to previously on my USB stick. Since the system can't easily fast forward 15-minutes, and some of these are 30-minute+ tracks, I give up and have no sound the rest of my commute or I'm forced to listen to something else.
I loved this system when I first bought my car but I'm so disappointed in all its shortcomings. Half the time I start my car, there's even no audio at all and I have to power cycle it twice to hear satellite radio.
