I would save for an Accessport. other viable options would be a used Intercooler (Mishimoto J-line's can be had for around that) and a used intake. But my first mod if I could go back and do it all over again would Accessport, Intercooler and protune. maybe a cat-back if you find one you really like. I agree with everyone else, save a little more for the AP3

The RMM will definitely help with drivability and fits within your budget constraints. Follow-up with a tune when finances permit.
I could spend more

I just got my yearly bonus, but I was looking at spreading the money around to different things.

House, family, savings and hobby

300 seemed fair for a first mod purchase but it seems I may have set the bar too low.

In the past I have always lowered and mud flapped my evos.

So it looks like I will just be ordering some rally armors the lower sides of my car are filthy and spend the rest on MP Thundercracker or maybe some swift spec r's if I'm feelin frisky

I did RRM first, my Cobb AP gets here tomorrow. My car came with a short shifter plate and mud flaps already installed. I going to do wheels and tires next, then exhaust. FMIC intake etc will follow.

Gotta stalked the for sale forum to see if there one for sale . Or you could always email Jurrian from mod bargains . He can give you a good price for new one .
I'm uneasy buying a used AP. Got burned buying one for my X MR. 400 I can feel good about right now, but I can save and pay $500 next week.

Let's see if I can hold out.

You don't need to pay $500 for an AP.... Call up JST Performance.

AccessPort is the best bang for the buck as it loosens all the torque nannys in the lower gears and makes the car a real Hoot to drive . Then you can move on to other helpful mods.
