Hi everyone!
I'm a freshman at Georgia Tech studying Mechanical Engineering, and I'm excited to join the online FiST community. I've only recently shifted my focus from the Focus ST (no pun intended) to the Fiesta, after being obsessed with the FoST since probably 2012 when it was first revealed and I was just a high school freshman dreaming about first cars. The time has finally come for me to get a car (I think), and I'm looking very seriously at the Fiesta ST! I am test driving both ST siblings on Saturday and would love any advice related to that (specific to the ST, I've already read the "how to test drive a car" stuff online).
You can also find me on the RS forum. Of course the RS is my end goal, but just a bit out of financial reach right now for obvious reasons (poor college student). And then a bit unrelated, I'm also on ih8mud as FJ40Mitchell, not sure if there are any FJ40 Land Cruiser enthusiasts on here. That's my dad and I's little resto project. Build Thread here: http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/my-fj40-build-thread-adventures.901180/

Thanks! Hope to meet a few of you around Atlanta if/when I finally get the ST.

Thanks for the welcome. Alright so I went on the test drive! It wasn't the longest, and they made me stick to their usual route, which didn't exactly give me the chance to see the handling it's so well-known for. However I definitely enjoyed driving both cars, and found no compelling reason to want the Focus over the Fiesta, so Fiesta it is. In fact, I felt like the Fiesta pulled a bit better. It's certainly well equipped. The Recaros fit me perfectly, and I didn't find them uncomfortable at any point in the drive. So I'm in the market! Looking for Molten Orange, used, Recaros, hoping to get under $18,000. Probably buy after I finish this semester in May.
