Tire balancing beads...

I've used these before on heavy truck tires in a shop that didn't have a balancer for the big stuff. They were bags called Equal. You toss them into the tire, mount the tire, air it up and presto, all done and balanced, lol. And in those few years not one time did a customer complain that a tire felt out of balance. I was always surprised.

I always thought it was a big truck market thing, never knew they were used in automotive applications. Interested to hear people's experience. [emoji106]

One advantage seems to be infinite tire balancing because as tires wear they do not stay in balance. Would also be an advantage to anyone who doesn't want anything stuck to the outside of their wheels.

Motos are your answer. I've never used the beads cause I have tube tires on my HD. Go to "HD Forums. com. There are page after page of in fo on these things. Just go to the main page & put "balancing beads in the search thingy. Happy hunting!
