Just added the I brace to my FiST and LOVE the Quality fit and finish of this lightweight factory brace replacement. EZ install as you get under the car (on a lift or jack stands to be safe) and take the old heavy factory brace off and place the new TB brace in its place and Torque to spec.
This brace clears my custom Aluminum DHM exhaust. The fact it is purple is just gravey for me .
I Rate this 5 out of 5 Stars and would buy again..
Thanks TB PERFORMANCE

I will get pics after Sundays Festivities. As for the weight diff I am not able to weigh the factory unit as mine has gone missing.. I did however weigh the new unit and it was 1 lb 7 oz give or take depending which side of the needle you looked at on my kitchen veggie scale ;) don't tell my wife plz.. lol

$160 for this seems kinda steep...what exactly does it do?
IT replaces the factory mid brace with a hand made lighter version with a bit more clearence for any exhaust mods you may have install. My 2J exhaust was resting on the old mid brace and would transmit sounds and Vib into the cabin this help do away with that and gives a good cross tie to the chassis to help stiffen it back up if you had to remove the factory unit like I had to have done..

Here are the Installed pictures I got a quick 15 minutes today to toss this in between meals :)
One before showing the threaded bolts you attach to and as my factorybrace went MIA this is where I started today so you just hold it up in place over the four bolt/studs and thread on the nuts. you can see there is plenty of room for the exhaust to move a bit as my finger points out. (the other pics did not show this very well) I did also grab the exhaust as it was cold and pulled on it every way i could and it did not touch the cross member and if it does happen to bump on the odd chance I can figure some type of noise dampener for the cross member if needed but as it sits now its totally plug and play I would say.

Interesting design on the 2J. My CP-E 3" is nowhere close to hitting.

Ya it could have been a weight thing as that one was over 35lbs and the stock hangers may have been taxed.. Its all good it worked and so does this one only lighter :)
