Best mods for preventative/engine care?

Hello!

So I just wanted to ask a quick question and get some input. Right now my '15 FiST is pretty much completely stock (debadged, LED interior bulbs and hyper yellow fog bulbs are the sum of my mods lol). My question is, what do you guys think would be the best aftermarket mods for preventative/engine care in the long term? I know it sounds a bit odd, but here's what I've come up with and the reasoning I have behind them:

-Symposer delete: Quiets down in-cabin noise so you can more easily hear the engine and misc parts, which in turn will help in discovering problems if you happen to start hearing odd noises or what not.
-Oil catch can: To remove some of the blow-by oil in the induction system and ideally prolong engine/turbo life over that without an OCC.
-Stock replacement FMIC: From the information I've gathered reading through posts on the forums, it seems like in terms of our cooling system as a whole (referring here to daily driving/ sometimes 'spirited' driving, not autocross and such), our stock FMIC is the weakest link. I add this mod to the list not so much for wanting to run higher boost/advance timing, but just to reduce intake charge temps overall so that the engine will receive consistently cooler air and in turn have a less likely chance of developing knock or other temperature associate problems.

(This also brings me to the question: I know most of the time tuning is suggested after changing out to an aftermarket IC, but is it technically possible to just stay on the stock software, and utilize the new IC for the reasoning I just previously mentioned? I would assume that the stock ECU could still make minor positive adjustments to boost/timing with just a reduction, or just sustained lower, intake charge temp. Any thoughts?

Was wondering what you guys think about this approach to modding, and what other items you would suggest for such a list? I feel like the FiST is pretty much everything I need in a daily driver in terms of performance and handling, and the only real mods outside of the ones I just mentioned above will be cosmetic in nature for me (Tinting next week, then wheels/possibly tires).

OCC is keeping things clean is debatable. What it can for sure do is eliminate octane degrading blow-by. And sure, you can run a better intercooler without a tune. If you're looking to remain at stock power, your plan is pretty solid.

If I would add one thing, it would be a Cobb or Mountune roll restrictor. It makes an appreciable difference in shifter feel.

I was also looking into this route when choosing my mods, I went with the Boomba RMM, Mishimoto OCC, and Oil Cooler. Not saying this is the best route but the way I chose to go.

Park the car in the garage and only drive it on Sundays. LOL just kidding.

Start with a good maintenance plan, frequent oil changes, and all fluids should get checked and changed at regular intervals. this goes a long way towards longevity.
Driver mod can help depending on the type of driver you are.
Heat can be a killer of longevity so any mod you can do to reduce the heat to various parts and systems will help with a longer life.

Intensive preventive maintenance. Yearly coolant change. Yearly brake fluid replacement. Oil catch can. Use highest quality synthetic oil and high quality oil filter, change them at regular intervals. Keep engine, chassis and underbody as clean as possible. Regularly flush the radiator and intercooler fins with clean water to remove bugs and grime. Replace coolant hoses at 5 years of age. Become VERY suspicious of the plastic coolant reservoir after 3years (they are weak). Install a water temperature gauge that sources the temp from coolant leaving the engine enroute to the radiator. Treat the machine in a generally respectful manner. Couple this with storage of the car in winter months if you are in the snow belt and it's entirely possible to have a nice, reliable ride for 20 or more years with very little unplanned expense.

Just add an a catch can, Stay on top of your maintenance, Don't beat so much, and keep it clean!

Extras: add a better intercooler and a radiator to reduce stress

Ohh and keep the stock map
