New 2015 with ~3000 miles on a road trip from Phx to Las Vegas on the hottest day of the year (so far). Cruising along (65mph, of course), no issues, no noises, when the A/C starts blowing warm then hot air, several hours into the trip, at speed. Turned it off and back on, no change. Turned it off for 10 miles, turned it back on, started blowing cold again. While in Vegas (hottest weekend of the year, so far), kept having issues. Either it wouldn't start blowing cold air, or it would stop blowing cold air after working for variable amounts of time. No issues prior.

It's at the dealership now, I'll post an update if they find anything wrong.

I've only owned the car a month or so, and I've driven nearly every mile on it. I'm wondering if the Freon (or whatever they use now) just needs a re-charge since it's possible the car was sitting for a while (2015 purchased in 2016 with under 10 miles).

I'd love to hear from you if something like this has happened to your ST.

I've had the a/c get warm on me, even though internal temp was definitely well above the target climate control temp. Revving the engine helped in my case, but this was stop and go traffic.

Exact same problem. Dealer had mine 5 days. Compressor was bad. There is a TSB out about this issue. I got it today, it's over 90 and AC is quite cold. I posted elsewhere if you want more info.

Good luck!

Well this is reassuring ....I am driving from Mn to NOLA next week. It's been just fine lately...I guess I'll just roll the dice. Here I come to the big easy!

Dealer had the car one day. Service advisor claimed the cabin air filter and an evap valve had been replaced, along with a freon recharge, and that there was a TSB regarding same. AC appears to be working as required in the 8 miles I've driven it since.

I really love this car, but working AC is an absolute requirement in Phoenix.

I'm having the same exact A/C issue with its intermittent functioning. I brought the car into the dealer three times last summer (weeks into owning the car). The first time, they told me they were not getting any codes and to bring the car back while it wasn't working so they diagnose the issue. It went out on my way home from work and the dealership is just off the freeway. I stopped in triumphant the A/C it wasn't working and confident they should be able to diagnose the problem. Well, they wouldn't see me without an appointment and sent me away! The third and final time, they still couldn't find any codes so they told me they did a visual inspection and found nothing. They suggested that my car was too weak with its 1.6 liter engine and the car's A/C suffered in consequence. I need to go in and tell them what's wrong. Not only does it start to blow warm, it's clicking now! *End Rant!

Sounds like you need to find another to go to another dealer who knows how to properly diagnose an A/c system. I'd ask them if they had anyone who is ASE certified in Hvac....if not I'd say I'll just take it somewhere else and they need to follow that up with a big bowl of Di?KS to eat.

This happened to me one time.
Turned on the ac and it just blew out warm air. Turned it on and off and it finally kicked in and blew cold air.
Hope it was an isolated incident, never to happen again.
Good luck guys with your troubles, and try and keep cool in the process.
