I have had to replace my water pump on the motor I have dropped into the car to replace my blowed up original motor.
It appears the cam timing slipped at some point as cam A is slightly off. fortunately for us, the EcoBoost 1.6 and its nonturbo cousin are a non-interference design, meaning if the timing belt ever does fail, the valves can't possibly hit the pistons like they can with a honda or volvo inline five.
Anyhow I need to reset my engine's timing and then I can finally get back on the road after six months.
Amazon shows that KTC and OTC both have a tool kit for around 120 bucks that will take at least a week to get here and I am already out of a car at this point and need to get the car up and running ASAP
Please let me know if you have the tool that I can borrow, I could also use a supervisor that knows what they're doing.
