Yes I don't have anymore carpet tape around I do have some double sided 3m but it wouldn't hold properly I wouldn't think

I didn't because I don't already have any carpet tape and from my quick search earlier this morning it looks like the total cost for me would've ended up about the same as a brand new one with having to buy tape...
