Full Shifter customization... questions that needs clear answers... or discussions..?

Hi, I've been lurking, searching, and read countless threads about short shifters, extenders, and the boomba kit.... and I have a few questions... because... my eyes are straining from reading so many threads.

Here are the questions, I hope I am not the only noob here with these questions...

Mountune = 30% right? I've read a few threads about their revisions reducing this to around 20% due to cable clearance issues? But their website still says 30%... so... which one is it?

Is the FSWERKS shortshifter adapter the easiest to install? Or is it similar to Boomba's adapter? they look similar in design, I found threads on the mountune ones, looks more complicated than the "10 minutes" claimed to install the FSWERKS one.

All short shift adapters can work in conjunction with Boomba shifter right? one of the main reason for the boomba shifter is really the throw adjustability and bend? so if neither appeals, then... no point?

Boomba shifter with the 30 degree bend does not look pistol grip friendly since... it looks like the wrist has to bend severely for 2,4,6.. or you have to release the grip and do the finger hook pull thing. Can someone take photos of side profile of the shifter positions with a piston style knob? I wonder if it is possible to reposition the bend...?

Can the Boomba shifter be combined with the DHM bent extender (or other bent extenders with the RLO adapter) to correct the odd looking angle of the Boomba shifter? Has anyone tried this? I figure the boomba is 30 deg back, and DHM is a 20 deg bend (position-able), so it can really just be a 10 deg bend. Of course this comes with the benefits (or the lack of) of a raised shifter. Anyone have the two items and can tell me a little about this, and whether or not it would work?

I have a feeling if I searched deep enough I can find that one thread or 3 that answers all these questions... but I also feel like a few questions here is fairly legitimate and new. Please forgive me if this somehow is the 100th time someone asked any of these questions.. :p

Really you kinda just have to jump in. After about a week of looking around, I went with the FSWERKS adapter and the DHM bent extender. In my opinion this is just the perfect positioning with a good throw. I don't have issues putting 3rd into 5th or 5th into 3rd like before. I am a taller fellow and the 3rd/5th is a little hard to reach on the stock setup since my seat is all the way back. I might post some pictures after the Euro cup game if I get some time.

EDIT: The FSWERKS adapter was pretty easy to install for me, took about 45 minutes, casually done, if you also remove the battery tray in addition to the intake. Only reason it took me longer than 30 minutes is that I dropped a hex wrench in between the transmission and engine, and had to go fishing for it. Reason I chose the FSWERKS adapter? It was cheaper than an actual shifter mechanism like the Boomba kit, and with the DHM bent extender, I feel like the positioning is perfect. NOW, I do use a spherical shift knob, so I don't know how a pistol grip would work out with my setup.

Yeah, I use to use a ball knob too, but i got tired of the way it looks, and didnt feel it looks that great in the ST, so I opted for a piston style knob.. which i see as problematic if used on a bent shifter.

While I am all cool for jumping in, the main decision I am making is a substantial investment to "see" if I like the results with too many uncertainties.

I'm leaning towards the fswerks SS adapter and the boomba bushings, but was wondering if mountune is actually offering more for (more) money and their design seems more... complex? so.. is it 30%??? did they fully fix that cable binding issue? The talks about it sorta tapered off with "i cant believe they didnt recall all units." and then nothing much after that.

But if the boomba kit can work well with a piston knob, I would go for that and be all boomba'ed out. lol its really just details I need to know to make an informed decision. They need to make a boomba shifter with a double bend so the knob sits straight (probably couldnt because of the reverse lockout...? or a straight shaft.

I've seen double bends, but those have always been on much larger shifter extensions. I have the DHM extension, and in person it is a bit smaller than you might think it is. It would be difficult to make two bends there, this is a small extension. I know you can find a larger extension and jury-rig the reverse lockout with a washer and nut, but that significantly raises the height of your grip.
