Hi, I've been lurking, searching, and read countless threads about short shifters, extenders, and the boomba kit.... and I have a few questions... because... my eyes are straining from reading so many threads.
Here are the questions, I hope I am not the only noob here with these questions...
Mountune = 30% right? I've read a few threads about their revisions reducing this to around 20% due to cable clearance issues? But their website still says 30%... so... which one is it?
Is the FSWERKS shortshifter adapter the easiest to install? Or is it similar to Boomba's adapter? they look similar in design, I found threads on the mountune ones, looks more complicated than the "10 minutes" claimed to install the FSWERKS one.
All short shift adapters can work in conjunction with Boomba shifter right? one of the main reason for the boomba shifter is really the throw adjustability and bend? so if neither appeals, then... no point?
Boomba shifter with the 30 degree bend does not look pistol grip friendly since... it looks like the wrist has to bend severely for 2,4,6.. or you have to release the grip and do the finger hook pull thing. Can someone take photos of side profile of the shifter positions with a piston style knob? I wonder if it is possible to reposition the bend...?
Can the Boomba shifter be combined with the DHM bent extender (or other bent extenders with the RLO adapter) to correct the odd looking angle of the Boomba shifter? Has anyone tried this? I figure the boomba is 30 deg back, and DHM is a 20 deg bend (position-able), so it can really just be a 10 deg bend. Of course this comes with the benefits (or the lack of) of a raised shifter. Anyone have the two items and can tell me a little about this, and whether or not it would work?
I have a feeling if I searched deep enough I can find that one thread or 3 that answers all these questions... but I also feel like a few questions here is fairly legitimate and new. Please forgive me if this somehow is the 100th time someone asked any of these questions..
