Calling Ford CSR: AC Issue, at dealer 2 weeks...still hot air?!?

So, this has been a beating so far but I'll try and stay on topic and make it short and sweet.

Bought 2015 Fiesta ST from a very well know dealer online with 10,500 miles on the car. The dealer performs pre delivery inspections on all vehicles prior to shipping the car out and determines that the AC is blowing "hot air"?!? Dealer informs me that they are sending car to Ford dealer (Allan Vigil Ford Lincoln, Morrow, GA) since this is factory warranty work which is understandable...I would too. After waiting another 2 weeks for my car to be ready to ship I finally receive car today in Dallas, TX. Car is awesome...no tranny whine, clutch is good, no rattles, very tight and fast! I did mention I am in Dallas, TX (yes, it's very hot with 105 heat index today)!?! Anyway, I go to turn the AC on and guess what...HOT AIR!!!!! I'm a little pissed at this point and decide to go ahead and take it to North Central Ford here in DFW to make an appointment and see if they can pull up the warranty work that had been done to "FIX" the AC over the last 2 weeks in GA. Well, no record of ANY work being done?!? Now, I have researched this car and trolled this forum for awhile and know the issues others have had with the car so I feel I'm a fairly educated buyer. My problem with this is the lack of record keeping and service that was performed at Allan Vigil Ford in terms of this car being fixed in the first place. I guess the dealer "I" bought the car from should have probably tested the AC a little more thoroughly but again "I was kind of wanting my car since I've had to wait on it"

So, if my Ford CSR (Meagan?) that monitors this site could help me I would appreciate it. North Central Ford didn't seem like they wanted to give me a loaner so they may need to be contacted.

I'm keeping the car and love it! I just want Ford to fix the Air Conditioning and be accountable for their warranty work "or lack thereof", step up with a loaner, and help me stay cool during the HOT TEXAS SUMMER!

That is all!

I'd like to know if this has reached TSB status yet. All I hear about is failed A/C in the FiST, mine included.

Did you ever get it fixed? It really pisses me off that this dealer in GA had it for almost 2 weeks and obviously didn't test it before it left the dealer?!?

I have not. I've been Mazda for the last decade and had the best relationship I've ever had with a new car service manager at my Mazda stealership. I haven't found or heard of a good Ford stealership in KC yet.

I don't think any Ford reps have been on here for awhile.

Probably got a directive from corporate to not respond to our issues anymore?!? These car companies are a joke. Sell a product, then fight you to fix their design f-ups.

I will post this update though. So, I get in the car this morning and the AC worked. It did this until it got over 90 degrees yesterday as well then the compressor wouldn't kick on. I'm assuming this is a regulator issue of some sort?!?

Do you have the proper relay installed? There's a TSB for the high-speed fan relay on the Fiesta ST 2015/early 2016 models.

Look, i fully understand this. It's still a 2015 car with 10,000 miles on it. Ford needs to fix it! I know the inherent issues some of these cars have had so I didn't expect everything to be perfect. I'm not one of these guys thats going to go on and on about an issue but it's an AC unit for gods sake and I'm in Texas. All I want is the CSR to help as I know they have helped several members on here "get things done"!

That is all.

I was actually just reading that post when you sent the reply! Gonna try this. Have an appointment with dealer tomorrow if the relay doesn't work. Going to get it now!

This was done last week!

Your image didn't upload. However, if you've the proper relay, then the compressor is the next most likely suspect. There are a few cases of these failing on our cars. I'm doubtful the refrigerant is low, but that's also a possibility. If that's the case, you've a slow leak and that would need to be found/addressed. But, they're most likely going to find a failed/ing compressor.

Ford will fix it if its a failed part. Did you get any paper work at all from the dealer you bought it from that it actually went to ford to get fixed? Ford alwaye provides paper work when they work or even look at a car with a problem. It almost sounds like the dealer you bought it from didnt bother actually send it to get fixed for you

I actually did source the paperwork. I tried to post what was done but the picture of the invoice didn't upload. I will try to post again once stationary.
