What are these openings for??

I had my boost gauge mount there for a while,

...ANYWAYS... Just ignore the openings man. The irresistible urge to tinker around with crap on a car that doesn't really need tinkering around with is hard to overcome, but you can do it. Save your interior. You'll be glad you did later on.

Nope. Glad my interior was tinkered with. I like the way it is, as it is better than what Ford did. And the idea of making a plate and using that terrible space in front of the shifter for something better is a great idea.

People tinker with cars because they want them to be their way. Not your way.
