got an early christmas present: https://loudvalves.com/products/copy-of-3-boost-activated-exhaust-cutout

boost controlled exhaust cutout so its open when i "need it" and closed when i don't.

please ignore my shitaz welds

the actuator fully opens around 7psi. a little low for me, so i'll be adding a mechanical boost controller to mitigate the noise when under load on the highway.

other than that it's fantasticly perfect for my style. i can go in and out of my neighborhood without making much sound through the cobb exhauset, but once im out on the road i can open'er'up without having to worry about hitting a switch or pulling a cable. i think it sounds almost like a diesel truck when the cutout is open.

i don't really trust my butt dyno, and don't really have a good pull to give to the edyno, i lost traction in 3rd and it said i made 244whp. (im just cobb stg3 +tuned e30) but it's fun and i kept up fairly well with a 2013ish gt 5.0 with some bolt-ons.

I need some camber bolts and new tires, then i'll head back out to my mile high track and try to beat my PR 13.992@98.33mph. im very curious about how far i can take this stock turbo. i wont have the money for a turbo upgrade for some time.

thanks for checking it out!
