Hi all, my name is Ben. After looking at fiesta ST's for a few months now and reading all the praise and reviews of the Fiesta ST, I saw one pop up at the same dealer where I had purchased my WRX for a pretty good deal, so I bought it. I plan on selling the WRX soon.

It's a 2016 in White Platinum Metallic... I think. It's a beautiful white pearl color. Really similar to McLaren's MP4-12C with blue and yellow pearl.

I believe it's pretty much fully loaded (Recaro's, moonroof, navi, keyless entry/push button start, red calipers, black wheels). It also has an unknown catback that looks and sounds great in my opinion, and 30% (guessing here) tint. It has just over 6k miles on it and I got it for $18.4k OTD. I think a pretty good deal.

I'm new to Ford. I've owned a 99 civic, followed by an 01 Impreza 2.5RS, then my '14 WRX hatchback. I just got bored of the WRX and wanted something more fun, plus the Subaru rattles are driving me insane. I still have the WRX and I'm going to part it out and sell it soon. I'm going to miss it but will have fun driving and modding something new to me.

I'll get some proper pictures soon. I don't know much about these so any advice is greatly appreciated! Anyone know which exhaust this is? I looked all over and couldn't find it. I didn't see any branding on the muffler but didn't look that hard. I see almost all aftermarket catbacks are dual-tip, which I like, but the oval fits the cutout in the diffuser nicely, so I don't hate it.

Mod plans include (in order):
5% Front tint strip (everyone needs this!)
FSWerks short shift kit
FSWerks aluminum shift bracket
Cobb AP
Injen intake (I want the extra sound over the performance of a highflow filter)
Turbosmart BPV
Front lip
Wing risers
Rain guards
Lowering springs
Pilot Supersports
Wheels
Swaybars?

I'll probably end up doing DP and FMIC as well.

---

Here's my WRX if anyone's interested, there's quite a bit done to it:

WELCOME and CONGRATS!!!

There are a few members on here close to your area.

That oval tip would be perfect if it were powder coated satin black. [wink] [thumb]

yes, you got a good deal. nice car, i like the oval exhaust a lot actually. My GF lived in Mechanicsburg for a while before we moved to PIT. buddy of mine is dead-set on getting a 2011+ WRX but i keep telling him the FiST is more fun. he'll never listen to me as he can't get over AWD vs FWD. have fun with the new car!

I had a 07 WRX from 07-09 with a 16G turbo, meth and the all the standard fare. I can actually say that I enjoy the Fiesta more on a day to day basis. Enjoy your new ride and congrats!

welcome bud. Nice WRX. You'll find that a lot of members on this forum have come from some sweet builds before their ST. Look forward to seeing what you do with yours. Also, you picked up your car for one hell of a deal, im jealous. I cant imagine being the person who traded that car in, they must have taken a HUGE hit on trade in.

Being that the Fiesta ST is based off the general Fiesta which is the economy car from Ford, you're likely going to to get rattles still. I don't know how bad the rattles are in the Subaru to compare, but on bumpy backroads some rattles can get mildly annoying to me. Highway driving I don't get any.

^^^Maybe mine is still too new [dunno], but it is so solid it feels like it is machined from a solid block of billet steel right now. ;)

I've never tried the fswerks anything. But I think you should take a car with the boomba shifter setup and bushings. Inside the car before you make your decision. But I'm kind of biased. :) btw I like driving.

What's wrong with fswerks? If you've never tried it, why bash it? I love my short shift from them.

Awesome. Unless you NEED awd and a bigger car, I don't see too much of a reason to get it over the FiST. I gotta say I will miss the Subaru wave though!

Welcome and make sure you add intercooler to that list of mods!
I didn't realize how cheap they are for our cars. Definitely will!

Welcome! I admit I wish I was out cruising around with McLaren's.
They're incredibly fun and fast cars.

Thanks! haha I only hung out in the DSLR car/combo thread and the 2011-2014 WRX/STi thread.

Thatnks! I'm going to keep it clean and tasteful. Yeah he must have lost so much on it. Traded in for an STi is what I was told.

You consider that bashing??? Me literally offering to drive near where he is so he could take my car for a spin. Haha. You win....

If only I had rattles just on bumpy back roads. The car is CONSTANTLY rattling. Like no matter what or when.

I can't trust someone who quotes my entire post with pics lol. What's wrong with the FSWorks? I don't think 20% reduction is enough for me. I had my Cobb STS very short and loved it.

Haha. Understandable. And it's not that there's anything wrong with the fswerks stuff. Just think you should try my whole shifter assembly and bushings before making your decision. I'm a huge fan of my shifter setup!! Lol.
BTW that WRX looks sooo good!!!
