Long time browser on this forum but first post.

I contacted a company called aeroflow dynamics about having canards designed for the fiesta st and got the finished product installed today.

Below is the link for aeroflow dynamics website and Instagram as well as my Instagram but if anyone's interested check out aeroflow dynamics.

Here's some more pics of them. Probably a placebo effect but the front end does feel a bit more planted at highway speeds. Aeroflow dynamics was waiting for me to send them more pics so hopefully they'll have them listed tomorrow or early next week.

^^^Will their FRONT splitter even have a chance of actually being functional, vs. just an aesthetic piece like everything else out on the market? [dunno]

I hope so haha they're splitters are made of the same aluminum material so flex wouldn't be an issue. Idk how it'd be mounted though. My mountune splitter is mounted to the bumper and the crash bar so the downforce is actually transfered to the chassis. I tried getting Mountunes brake kit and it was a nightmare so I'm never buying from them again though.

I was going to order a set. Then I saw the price, Hard pass on that.
$180? I mean sketchy universal ebay canards are $250. Voltex canards are $450+ (don't have any specifally for our car). But ya they're not for everyone but I'm happy w mine.

IF they could be functional at all in these given sizes, probably better functionally as well. [wink]
Most of the functionality of canards come from the vortex generated. They separate the air on the side of the car and prevent some of it from getting sucked under the car, reducing lift. The vortex can also help suck some of the hot air out of the front wheel wells and help w brake cooling as well. Which is why mine are mounted low, so hopefully, theoretically the vortex will run right at the top of my wheels. The canard itself doesn't really generate much downforce.

Here is the direct link to the product:

Personally, I think a set of 4 (2 on each side) is better aesthetically.
I'm actually thinking about getting a set of their version 2 canards (they have an end plate and have to be straight) to mount as well but I think I'm gonna wait till my car is stage 2 for that. It'd look awesome but I'd want to have the power to back that up haha

You mean this splitter? How did you mount it to the crash bar?

Did you customize something that runs up behind the intercooler to the crash bar?

It comes w a rod that connects that middle hump in the splitter to the crash bar.

The picture isn't my car but right in the middle you can see it.
