Mountune exhaust clearnace

Wanted to see if anyone else had this issue with their Mountune CBE. I have a stock DP. I've tried for hours to adjust the exhaust, but it simply won't make certain clearances, specifically by the parking brake cable bracket just ahead of the right rear wheel. They don't touch at a stand still, but you can see marks on the exhaust from when the car is in motion. Anyone else have clearnace issues with the Mountune CBE? I have. USDM spec 5 door.

I know things are tight with mine, but I don't think anything is rubbing. I'll get under mine this weekend to check.

No rub or issues here. What year? Also stock hangers? I used Cobb hangers that are stiffer to prevent too munch movement.

No issue on mine, stock hangers. I have done a lot of exhausts. My c6 z06 was the biggest pain in the ass. On the fist, attach everything loosely. Grab a buddy or some pieces of wood, various sizes. The most crucial is the rear piece of exhaust. Make sure it is not touching the rear valance and adjust it where you want it to sit everywhere. Have your buddy hold it, or use pieces of wood as shims. I then bang the connections joints with a rubber mallet and the connections will slowly twist and turn to be where they need to be for where you positioned the rear piece. Keep the shims of buddy in place as you tighten the clamps and screws to the downpipe.

Thank you guys for your responses. I have a 2015 and I'm using stock hangars at the DP and mid-pipe, Cobb hangers at the last two points near the silencer. If I didn't use the Cobb hangers at the back, the tips would be pressed up against the bottom of the valence cut-out. The Cobb hangers are slightly longer than stock, so they offered me about a 1/4 of an inch clearance from the valence to the tips. If I used to Cobb hangers for the DP or the mid-pipe, the mid-pipe would rest on a plastic(?) cross member.

I think what I'll do is take everything off again and try to start over. Maybe it just needs to be reassembled to get the fitment. I did this without a lift, so it was a challenge. I'm thinking I also maybe didn't slip the connectors in completely.

Hmm there is an art for exhaust. You need to adjust the hanging points ANY hanger can be made to work. The hard points can get bent in transport and are made to be adjusted. Just go slow with even pressure no hammer (maybe a dead blow but I would not)

Thank you. I'm also thinking this as well. I didn't even think to check if they were bent before I put them on. Seems like it just needs some adjustment, not much.

I know it took me a good 30 minutes to get the tips straight and right where I wanted them following the ideas in the video.

No clearance issues on mine, but I ran the stock hangers for about a month and had a rattle at idle due to the silencer bouncing around. Hangers from Mountune fixed that issue and now everything sits pretty.
