Looking for a set of summer tires to run on my xxr 527s and swap the all seasons to my stock wheels for winter time. Anyone run these Pirelli's? Looking at tires in the $100/ea range. Was considering s-drives but came across the Pirelli's... just curious....
Oh, I'm looking for a 215/40/17 so that effects my tire choices....

I've heard bad stuff about the federals... like they're good for 10min then get greasy and slick, which is why the drifters love em so much.

I've heard that they don't handle heat cycles well. I want to be able to go to the track 3 or 4 times a year and go in the canyons once a week and not have to worry about my tires getting less grippy
