As the Fiesta build (Evolution of the Green Beast) is coming to a close I wanted to expand my channel. Rather then doing more detailed installations I wanted to focus more on the driving experience. So I welcome a 2017 Focus RS to my channel. No it isn't mine (I plan on getting one later with an epic build) but a close friend of mine named Neil. Previously he had a big turbo Focus ST so the switch to the RS was a simple one. If you have questions you want us to discuss or discover for you all please ask! And yes when the Fiesta is running we will have a Focus RS vs built Fiesta ST battle. We are trying to match what I have spent on the Fiesta to the Focus so an AP and DHM tune are already ordered as well as the exhaust being swapped and a few other things listed in the video description. Hope you enjoy this first episode. And we are still breaking in the engine so driving it like I stole it will come later!

Episode 2 is out! We change the rear sway bar to a beefier 25mm and take the RS for a drive in the canyons and talk about how this changes/reduces the factory dialed in understeer.

Another blog on my drive tribe on how the Focus RS did while driving in the canyons after installing the rear sway bar. As well as a new video of our impressions of the RS after an AP was installed. Enjoy!

So what is happening with your engine since....well DHM.

Sent from my XT1650
He got his engine. He's already installed it... From what I understand once he's ready there will be a video on his channel.

Correct. New season is to start on August 31st (This Thursday). First episode is going to be an hour long special so get your popcorn ready. The Green Beast will have a weekly video on the rebuild as well as many new cars being introduced to the channel. GT500, corvette grandsport, Focus RS (this one has already been introduced), jeep wrangler, and a few more fiesta's for comparisons. There will be car reviews, track battles, rolling races and more.

The wait is over and Season 2 has started. Grab some popcorn and watch this hour long intimate car guy video. Also subscribe for weekly video's if you haven't already.

20-30 mins is probably your sweet spot - the first video was too long for me... But if you broke it up into multiple videos I'd probably get sucked into watching them all.

Just a quick heads up.

Happy to see the FiST back on the road!

yeah I think so too from looking at my view count. I thought the first video should be the longest though. don't plan on making another hour long video anytime soon. way too much work haha.

Episode 3 is out for Evolution of the Green beast. Make sure to turn closed captions on for the first drive part as all the vibrations from the new motor mounts make audio not so great.

glad to see this car back on the road
interesting development on the spacers

H&R's have been a spacer I've had at my fingertips but haven't listed on the site due to needing the ARP extended studs to install but after seeing your video and experience I'll go ahead and add them and link my ARP studs in an effort to sway people to add spacers the "right" way since this could have been really ugly.
Glad the car isn't totaled and you are OK

Thanks for documenting this!

Yeah the extended arp studs really saved the day on that incident. I did note the h&r spacers came with their own extended lugs but I feel much safer with the arp ones.
