Where are the day/night lighting sensors?

Just wondering where the photosensors are for day/night lighting on the infotainment screen and headlights so I can block them out. The black background for the screen looks so much better (even during sun glare) and I'd like my headlights to stay on at all times in auto mode.

Assuming you're referring to Sync3, there should be a setting to keep the screen black at all times. I have that done on my Escape because I don't like the white screen either.
