Nothing better than that. Could see some 2018 MY vehicles (carryover of current MY, probably with different paint options) coming out soon. I would buy now if you see something you like.

Now the only question remaining (for me at least) is which colors will be available for Canada since for 2017 we only add the black, orange and magnetic...

I was just thinking about trading mine in on something else. I was considering a 17 but none of the colors do it for
Me like my orange one. I really love the look of that red or the blue. Found a pic of the red on a fost and it looked dang good. How long till 18s start rolling out?

Uh, this is big news if it's true... we've all been moping around thinking it was being discontinued and 2017 was the last model year. Maybe 2018 is the last year?
For now, 2018 is the official last year for the current gen. For the next, it's still not clear as the only intel came from European director and since he surely has no power over the decision taken this side of the ocean, he probably has solid information about it. So as long as there is no real official statement from Ford of NA, I'd say there is still a glimpse of hope. But as this article mentions (http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2017/9/...he-New-Fiesta-ST-Will-Come-To-The-US-7741082/) the arrival of Ecosport will probably replace the Fiesta.

Last year, at the end of October the order began for the 2017. So my guess would be late October/ early November. Do like me, keep checking the ford website regularly ;). I won't be buying until spring anyway, don't want to buy the car during the salty season.

Ah not so sure Motor1 is not as much of an automotive authority compared to Motor Trend
http://www.motortrend.com/news/ford-...g-back-to-u-s/

Plus this from the Drive

http://www.thedrive.com/news/14397/t...ing-to-america

Fact is what you will probably see is Ford sell out stock of what's left of 2017 models as they are sitting on dealers lots and dealers are still ordering 2017's. They have back stock to unload and production parts to make cars with due to poor sales. Do not expect a 2018 model per se . Even the Sales guys at Galpin the largest volume dealership in the world have told me the inside word at Ford is the car is not going to see a 2018 model in the U.S.

Wow, before callingout Motor1 being trash , did you check all my posts and the sources? I clearly linked the source of the Motor1 article which is the FORD 2018 Brochure for sales, but I will link it again: https://media.ford.com/content/dam/...S/product/2018/2017-18-ford-vehicle-guide.pdf
Maybe you can show it to your super duper awsome sales guys, to check if their inside word is that good?

Your motortrend link doesn't even work. And about your article from the Drive; all it states is that the next gen model won't come to America (and even then, as I mentioned before: it's still not clear as the only intel came from European director and since he surely has no power over the decision taken this side of the ocean, he probably has solid information about it.. There's nothing about the current gen being or not for sale in 2018 in this article. Plus there is no publication date nor source link.

As for the fact that dealers are still ordering 2017, I find that really hard to believe. May be for US, but I made 3 dealers locally and they all said that 2017 orders are closed and that I had to wait for the 2018 models.

All add this article as well: https://www.autoblog.com/2017/09/28/ford-ditching-three-cylinder-ecoboost-fiesta/

Wow can we say hostile? You like putting words in people's mouths? I never called it trash. I questioned its validity that's not calling it trash.

You also seem to be taking this all quite personally. Perhaps you should not have equivocally stated something as fact as I gave question with other posted info.

Truth be told neither of us absolutely knows for sure, we both provided contrary posts equally. Therefor neither of us knows for sure and its up for debate.

Oh the motortrend link may be broken because I cut and pasted it on my mobile device. Oh my bad why don't you trying googling it. It's there.

Seriously , you do seem to be overreacting a bit here . I personally believe the likelihood of us getting any kind of 2018 model is small to none.

I have been in the Automotive business for some 20 odd years and use that experience for some of my skepticism.

I do not have to kowtow to your stated beliefs as you do not to mine. If you cannot entertain valid counterpoints to your assertations ? Then perhaps you should not be posting on a public forum.
