I have and like this Accu-gage analog gauge-

https://www.jazebra.com/products/accu-gage-a-series-tire-pressure-gauge-assembled-in-usa

It's well-made, seems accurate, and is easy to use. It has a hose, and holds readings until you press the release button, which you can also drain pressure with. The price was a good mid-point for me, I wanted something better than a cheap pencil gauge, but didn't want spend $50+.
G.H. Meiser makes great gauges, I have one of their Brookstone branded ones that's over 40 years old, and it still works fine. I just wanted one with more features.
Jazebra, the seller, and G.H. Meiser, the manufacturer, also have great customer service. I had an issue with the first of these gauges I got. I contacted the seller, who got G.H. Meiser to send me a new gauge, no questions asked.

Very happy with the accutire digital gage. Cheap simple lightweight and relatively well made. 0.5 psi resolution is about all I need (id rather have accuracy and repeatability over resolution). In my three years of use never once did I see drifts in the reading or thought it was out of cal. There is a recalibrate mode that i think resets baseline for you if you do. To drain pressure simply back off the schrader valve with the active end to release air. Would buy again.

I have a Longacre digital; http://www.longacreracing.com/produ...352&pagetitle=Pro+Digital+Tire+Pressure+Gauge

and an Accutire/Sears Craftsman digital; http://www.sears.com/craftsman-programmable-digital-tire-gauge/p-02830048000P

Really like them both, as there's no 'interpolation' necessary like with the analog gauges which my ancient eyes have trouble with as regards the fine graduation lines for the accurate ones out there. ;)

Looks like the Craftsman tool, just packaged differently. Also might be easier to get if you don't live near a Sears (they've closed the two closest stores here in the SF Bay).

Don't really use one. I am a strong believer of the visual inspection in combination of my right foot lol

I just use one of those little pen-sized ones you can get at the auto parts store for like four bucks. Been driving for fourteen years and haven't had trouble yet.
