I'm all too familiar with west LA traffic lol.
I think my average Mph is like 17 or 19?
If that is accurate... good job! I'm only at 400 miles on this engine... this time around I will stay out of boost and try to get more accurate numbers... haha

Ahh that explains it. Your mpg will go up once the motor breaks in. Plus my mods help

Yeah...

Just went to fuelly.com and looked at everyone's MPG...

There is a strong relation to number of fill ups and increased MPG

So either people are driving slower as they get use to their fun little cars

OR

The engines are more efficient after getting some miles on them

OR

both ( my conclusion )

Actually I'm finding being more aggressive is helping my milage. Maybe I am just used to shifting earlier on my old car. Shifting around 3k seems to be the sweet spot with the Cobb 91 v102 tune for me

I average about 28-30 mpg and that's 90% city, I get on it constantly too. I have just over 2k and run 91. It gets as good as my 2010 Corolla did.

Cars get quite a bit better gas mileage as they get some miles on em.

I did an average over my last 2 weeks at work. Got 38.5 mpg during 2 weeks of commuting the 15 miles (primarily 50 mph)back and forth. Let the average continue counting for the 300 mile drive home, and ended up getting 34.3 mpg with the 2 tanks (300 miles of primarily 75-80 mph, with some spirited driving).

According to aCar (my vehicle log book on my Android phone), I am getting about 27.8MPG mixed (spirited) city / (spirited) highway driving. If I am gentle, I've gotten it to mixed 34MPG, but that's heavy granny drive and hypermileing it to the point of boredom.

Bone stock all around and about 2800 miles on the clock. About 45 miles a day commute, about 40 of that is highway at mixed speeds, depending on how moody Interstate 5 and 405 are that day. Oh yeah, with that wonderful 91 octane dinofuel.

Damn, keep editing this post. My number is fuel fill-up to fuel fill-up, usually 8-10 gallons. I only reset my in-dash MPG gauge at that time.

I did a little road trip up to Santa Barbara this weekend, mostly 45-65 mph cruising.

The other 30% of my fuel was used sitting at red lights in l.a. and getting up to speed and slowing down again.

So 70/30 mixed and actual mpg was 29.5 mpg

Average speed is big factor!

I did a 296 mile trip last night. It used 8.6 gallons which is 34.4 mpg. The trip was about 30% city and 70% highway. No interstates.

29.0mpg, 99% city driving. Looking forward to see how she'll do on its first road trip eventually with seeing so many people getting 40+ on longer trips.

I have 2500kms driven so far, and I average about 7.2l/100km (32.6mpg) to a tank with an average speed of 65-75kmh. About 70/30 highway/city

I always use Shell V-Power 91 with 0% Ethanol.
