I was thinking about going just to observe but I got hung up at home. I haven't been to one, so I was wondering what the experience is like.

I live down the street now, don't currently own a FiST but would love to go check out PIR.

Dang, I wish I would have posted before it happened then. I had it on my calendar for a long time. Here is the link to the SCCA site. It's like $150 bucks and you bring a helmet and a working car and you get 3 20 minute sessions or something like that. It looks like there is another one on June 8 or maybe I got my schedule screwed up.

Track night in America events are fun and relaxed. I highly recommend them. My car is stuck in the garage due to, well, due to an incident with my manual garage door resulting in it being stuck shut until we get it replaced. That's going to take a lilttle bit of planning.

I might take the other car to a PIR or Ridge event this summer. Still TBD. I'll get out for sure in August/September. Club Lotus NW in early September for experienced drivers is the best event at PIR (IMHO).

Anybody going this Friday, June 8th? I will be building a patio at home so I have to miss it, unfortunately.

I'm glad this thread got bumped, because after getting back from the ST Octane Academy, I started wondering about track day options in the NW. I see there's a Track Night in Shelton tonight...well, dammit, not going to make that one. But I see this one coming up:

Anyone planning to do it? I've always wanted to drive Pacific Raceway.

Also, bonus question (probably covered somewhere deep within other threads, but bear with me): My FiST doesn't have the Recaros and I can see now what a must better seat bracing is on track. Has anybody here tried something like the G-Force Torso harness for either track days or autocross? It's a cheap, interim solution, I know, but I wanted to see if (a) it's allowed for Track Night events, and (b) does it do any good?
