I wanted to get a build thread going to document the progress of my 2015 Fiesta ST. This cars primary purpose is to serve as a fun daily driver and a side project to tinker with and enjoy. So far I'm in love with the ST! Incredibly fun, nimble, quick and exciting. The way it does everything with such urgency really makes it a pleasure to drive. Even though it may not be super quick, it FEELS quick and thats what truly matters to me. Welcome and looks Good :)
Thank you!

Your WRX is pure sex. One of the cleanest modified builds I've ever seen
Wow that means a lot. Thank you! I don't know if I'm gonna take the Fiesta to that level, but you never know [cool]

White is the sexiest FiST color. My First test drive was white and I rejected it because I thought it would be too gay for me and chose black instead but I was wrong and regretful. So much more you can do with white to make it look even more bad ass.

Awesome! Definitely an exciting duo to have in the garage! The first few times going from car to car was a trip. Steering feel, pedal feel, shifting feel and seating position are all completely different IMO.

Deciding on a color is always tough. i was I---I this close to getting Race Red, but I'm glad I went with white. Don't feel bad, black looks AMAZING when cleaned up properly.

I kept trying to push button start my Subaru only to realize its not push button start and same thing other way around trying to turn the Fiesta on with the Subaru key lol. I really liked the drive in the ST better than the Subaru though. Especially cause I could actually enjoy the sound system lol. But overall, they are both great amazing cars to own.

I did not know that colors could be gay?

My opinion....small white cars look girly to me. But thankfully for the FiST's aggressive look it chamgea that opinion especially when modded.
Girly = Gay? I think the proper and more acceptable description would be feminine.

Sounds more like you aren't comfortable enough in your manhood, though you are driving a car called a FIESTA. ;)

haha same. The handling of the Fiesta really surprised the hell out of me, even after coming from the modded Subaru. Much more fun to drive stock vs stock

Notice a rougher ride with the rear motor mount?
The ride isn't any rougher, just a small about of NVH while at idle with the A/C on. I would recommended this mount to anyone. Definitely seems more mellow then the delrin inserts and install is a snap which is awesome!

Very nice rides sir. I love the look of the Subie. Clean. I was curious about the Lamin-X fog light overlays. Are they as simple to apply as they say? Just stick'em on there? How do they look up close? I guess I'm worried that up close, they look like a "cheap" obvious stick on. Not to say that they are.

Thank you! The overlays were actually very simple to install. I opted to just use a dry method, just because its such a small surface area. A headlight you would definitely want to use some lubrication. I personally think they look amazing. If there was bubbles and creases, then yes I think it would look tacky. Its actually relatively easy to install them and get everything to sit nice and flat. I ended up taking off the fog light surround to get better access to the light which made life MUCH easier. Heres another photo with the fog light surround removed.

Date: August 8, 2014

Mileage: 637

Mods:

- "no-pistons" Custom Dead Pedal - Red Inlay
- Perrin 2" Super Shorty Antenna

Had a chance today to get a couple basic things done. The dead pedal from no-pistons is amazing and I can't thank him enough for such an awesome contribution to the community. I really wanted a red inlay, so I originally was going to get some red construction paper laminated, but ended up with this "help wanted" sign that had a nice bright red and was actually cheaper then the laminated route. Its a nice plastic finish that I think will hold up well to dirt/water etc... Install was obviously pretty straight forward using the supplied carpet tape. The positioning of the dead pedal can be a little tricky, but i tried to just get as much of the pedal on a flat surface as possible.

The Perrin shorty was again super simple, but really cleans up the R/C car look that it has from the factory. I will report back if any signal strength is degraded, but if its anything like the Perrin on my Subaru it shouldn't be a big deal.
