Posted below are two samples of video/sound clips of what Cobb's Turboback Exhaust note sounds like...I personally found Cobb's TBE exhaust note to be very similar to the video recorded and as expected louder than stock (no surprise there!)...The TBE has a deep smooth throaty exhaust note with no noticeable drone and not at all obnoxious or too loud....I also noticed that during my 100 mile trip back from Orange County averaging 80mph at varying rpm's that this TBE was pretty much drone free (very nice!)..and btw...I also averaged 33 mpg's during the trip back with all my mods added.....

    Cobb Rear Motor Mount:

And yes there is noticeable vibration at idle "with" the AC turned on as some other members here on the forum have also noted...however, during acceleration and cruising its very smooth with no added vibration....I'm hoping the vibration during idle under AC loading calms down a bit after a few 100 miles of break in as others have also mentioned it will....I need the AC on living here in the SoCal Desert during our scorching hot summer months! LOL

I would love to pick up all the Cobb stuff. Love the build so far, and look forward to seeing what you are going to put down after the intake and pro tune.

hey thanks!...Was a fun day over at Cobb...

So far I'm very pleased with the quality of parts and the results...

I'm hoping Cobb releases their CAI (within the next few weeks) and then I'll have it installed and everything ProTuned at the same time....I'll post the dyno results as soon as I get them...

I think what impressed me the most was how much more responsive and powerful the car feels particularly at the low and throughout the midband ranges....And the acceleration feels much more consistent and linear...And just tapping the accelerator while cruising at hwy speeds the boost immediately went to 21~22psi peak and held nicely under load....

Also had a chance to observe Boost Level, Charge Temp, and Ambient Air Temp which I setup the gauges on my AP to read during my trip back from Cobb and I was surprised and pleased to see during a few sustained WOTs runs from cruising speed as to how the charge temps didn't raise much more than 5~7 degrees F over ambient temps while maxing at ~22psi boost...

Need to log some runs to get a better idea as to how efficient the new system is....

Nice setup. I've spent a lot of time out in that Desert there (Kern, Riverside, Imperial) Are you planning a radiator upgrade in the Spring?
