I was surfing the web last night and came across this on a UK forum, I followed the instructions and it worked! Super Geek [hihi]

Ford Self Diagnostics Mode

The Self Diagnostics Mode gives you in-depth information about your
engine and the actual numbers in digital. To use it, follow the steps:

* Insert Key but do not turn it on (Push the Start Button just once so that accessories are on)
* Press and hold the Trip Meter Reset Button
* While holding the reset button, start your car and continue
holding the button
* Within 10 seconds, the display should change to "test" in LCD font
and the needles will do a full sweeping. Release the Button

Pressing the button will now cycle through some 17 different modes

* 1.Shows a Gauge Sweep

* 2. Shows all 8's on the LCD (LCD TEST)

* 3. Illuminates all the bulbs on the dash

* 4. Displays hexadecimal value for ROM level

* 5. Displays the hexadecimal value for EE level

* 6. Shows DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code)

* 7. Digital Speedometer - mph

* 8. Digital Speedometer - kph

* 9. N/A

* 10. Digital tachometer

* 11.Fuel volume

* 12. Engine coolant temperature

* 13. Battery voltage

* 14. ABS fail

* 15. Electronic brake distribution (EBD) failure

* 16. Illumination

* 17. Crank Sense

I imagine getting it out of this mode would be to turn the vehicle off? I did want a digital mph read-out, so I wonder if it would be worth it to go into this mode every time I drive...

Well, I just tried this tonight with no luck on my 2014 ST. I tried both the small reset button on the dash and the turn signal stock. Any ideas, I'll take.

Tried it out today. Hold DASH button down, press start with foot off brake and clutch, wait about 10 secs.

No, you can start it after it enters engineer mode. It will revert back to normal after a subsequent restart. Most of the data is goobly-****.

I gotta try this. Anyone know how to enable the NAV on our Fiesta ST's? Mine didn't come with it but we can buy the SD card with the maps so if we can enable it we should be good to go, no???

I had a go at this on my '16 (UK/European car) and it came up with waaaaay more than just the 17 options, can't fathom what some of them are, but I was scrolling through a fair few mixed in with the standard needle sweep, speed (Which was really useful actually) Ill try and get a full list together!

Thanks for the post OP!
