$395 for the new version. I'm less apprehensive about spending that money. It looks sturdy enough to pay for itself.

So, I've adjusted my coils to -8F, -10R. I'll write more later, but to be brief my set up is scarily inspiring. Someone not familiar with my car (or not a professional) would run out of skill quickly.

To expand a little more on the Meister coilovers:

The good:
? Road Feel in the steering wheel
? No bumpsteer
? No chop
? Smoother/better ride than OEM

The bad:
? Have to lift the car to adjust rear damper setting

Honestly, I'm a little afraid to push the car on public roads. I believe with my suspension mods that the cars capabilities now far exceed my own.

Have to do that for all coilovers I believe. I have a small hydraulic jack at my work place AND at home so I can adjust quickly.

I know. I was just really looking for a negative.

More updates!

Today, I received a driver side mount from frankiefiesta. The passenger side is soon to follow. I won't go too far into details because that's for him to discuss, but I can't thank him enough. Anyway, these will be going in with my built engine since I'm dropping my car off with Russ at the end of next week. I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

What a beautiful car! Clean deep shiny black. Make Russ wear gloves before he can touch it.
Here's my secret... I probably give it a good wash it once a season. Otherwise, it's just power washed down if there's a lot of build up, or salt on the roads.

So, today was the day. I dropped the car off with DHM. He showed me around the shop and suggested me and my GF eat at Vincetti Garage... It was excellent! Also, I didn't think my appreciation of Russ and the team could be greater, but it is. I, and anyone who's been to his shop, can assure to the greatest degree that he is NOT twiddling his thumbs in there. DHM works hard and has hard proof to back it.

A piston in the hand is worth more than four in the block.

I'll miss my car over the next week, but she's in very good hands.

Thank you so much, Russ!
