I just ordered a PTP turbo blanket, they say their generic T3 size should fit the GT2560r with vband housing.
I was thinking about going with PTP lava header wrap but then I heard about Silica fiber wraps that are rated to 2,000 degrees continuous and 3,000 degrees intermittent. They are usually quite expensive but I found Techflex Insultherm header wrap at Wirecare.com for only a few bucks more than the PTP lava wrap.
I got 50' of 1" for the header and 20' of 2" for the downpipe. I may come up short on the downpipe but I'll start at the turbo and wrap until I run out.
I was thinking about buying the expensive stainless zip-ties that a lot of people use but then I thought about stainless safety wire which I already have. After a little internet search, I'm not the only one to think of that, it seems to work out well for a lot of people and it is cheap. Harbor Freight even sells useable safety wire twisting pliers for about $10.
