Its been almost 3 years of ups and downs with my Fiesta ST. Mine was probably once of the first ones off the line in 2013 and as such it ran into a lot of issues during my first few months of ownership, mostly electronics based. Since then its been relatively smooth sailing. However with my warranty about to run out in about a month I was wondering if you guys have any advice on things I should look for/ make the dealership look for just in case, would prefer to have Ford pay for any fixes while I still have the chance. The car has only 18000 miles on it and no modifications. It spend most of its life on the east coast dealing with snow and salt and the abuse of an amateur hoonigan. I've matured a decent amount since then and need this car for the long haul. There are probably all sorts of things that are wrong with my car that i've just overlooked or gotten used to. My brother also learned how to drive stick shift on my car while I was away at college for a year and unable to bring the car with me.

What should I personally inspect and what should I have the dealer inspect before it is too late? Any items you can think of would be much appreciated.

Doesnt the factory warranty last 50,000 miles?

3 years/ 36,000 miles

To the OP, have you considered getting an extended warranty? Your car is a good candidate for one. I'm at 35,450 miles. Only issue I have ever had was the HVAC flapper had to be replaced. I also had a short stint where the A/C would turn it'self on over and over again after I turned it off but it seems to have fixed itself. Other than that, not a single other issue.
