Got a k&n intake that doesnt work correctly and tried cutting part of the vacuum connection and drilled a hole in the k&n intake hose to try to make it work. Not sure what i can do with the k&n now because i cant put the stock one back in with a missing connection. Any ideas?

My only thought would be to replace any parts that you destroyed.
The other option would be to purchase a complete new aftermarket intake system.
You may want to check the "For Sale" threads.

Good Luck

I went ahead and ordered a new stock tube that ran about $75. I guess ill have to wait til k&n comes up with a solution. They said i was only the 3rd person to call about the issue so it might be a while. Tha ks for the advice.

What exactly is wrong with the hose you have? Let me guess, you bought a 14-15 intake without reading the huge amounts of threads on here talking about how it won't work with your 16, and then also didn't look up how to build a fix for it for cheap?

Well i got on the k&n website and selected my vehicle and it said that it would match up. Im still fairly new to this but i did see something about a pcv valve being used to fix it up, but my only concern with that is how much modification needed to be done with the vacuum lines and my warranty.

You'd probably be better off getting the mishimoto induction hose for the 16 which comes with the adapter. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for K&N to make a adapter for it. If you can, I'd just return the intake you bought.

Besides, with an open air intake sucking hot engine air in, you're decreasing performance anyway.
