Hey guys, just swinging by here to ask a few questions.
I work for a small media company and we're contracted to find a few cars for a large car manufacturer so they can study the Audio Video Navigation systems.
One of the cars needed is a Ford with the new Sync 3 system. As far as I know, the Sync 3 is no longer made by Microsoft, thus making it a totally new system in the eyes of rival OEMs.
From what I can gather, 2016 Fords seem to be pretty far and between at the point in time, especially ones with Sync 3 (I believe only select 2016 models get Sync 3: Fiesta, Focus, Escape and Mustang. Interestingly, not the Fusion or Explorer), which brings me here to a Fiesta ST forum.
It seems like the standard 2016 Fiesta isnt being sold yet, but the 2016 Fiesta ST is.
So what I'm asking is if someone can confirm the 2016 Fiesta ST does indeed have Sync 3.
Also, if you happen to own one, would you be interested in lending your car out for a couple days for research in the Orange County area, you'll obviously be reimbursed with cash. The research consists of mostly testing the functionality of the system and its interaction between mobile devices and the user. Its basically a glorified photoshoot and test drive, with the focus being about the electronics. There wont be any tearing apart or disassembly, If that was the plan, the manufacturer would've bought the cars themselves. Let me know if you're interested, we basically just need any ford with Sync 3.
Thanks for time guys!
