i dont think either is a bad choice. BCs are nice but expensive and ST are nice but cheaper. i had a set of ST coilovers on my TDI and loved them fwiw...

This thread needs more nouns and verbs.

What is your goal is a great start.
Well I don't track my car it's a DD but I like to do canyon runs and would like a better overall ride quality over stock

St's are going to give you a lot more comfort compared to the BC's which are a bit more performance oriented and stiffer. I would lean more towards the ST's for sure, and luckily I've got great deals on either of those coilovers, so if you would like a price, send me a PM!

I have the BC race version and find the ride quite good, even more now that I am on 15" tires, far better than stock.

Only on really big bumps does it hit hard but maintains great control, I have not hit many and my wife and dogs have never complained:)

Ok, so forget all of this that's firmer than this and this is harsher than that...I want a setup that keeps the tire on the pavement for the longest and keeps the body of the car from moving as the suspension moves over road imperfections. More in the direction of how an off-road damper/spring combo works (but not to that extreme obviously). I plan on running stock height or lower and I want it to soak up everything I throw at it (shite roads) leaving body roll control to the swaybars.

I'm coming from the Miata world where the factory option Bilstein setup rides much like our stock FiST setup. I initially dropped the factory Bilsteins for a set of Tein Supersports that were quite decent and did a better job of everything I mentioned above. After a year on the SS's, Flyin Miata sent me a set of AFCO dual adjustable damper setup www.afcodynapro.com for off the shelf (not my-car specific) and those worked differently than my first two setups and were quite brilliant thennnnn I finally stepped up to a set from m.facebook.com/fatcatmotorsports www.fatcatmotorsports.com made specifically for my car by Sheikh (he has informative videos on YouTube if you want to check them out). Koni yellow monotubes revalved and spring matched to my mechanical grip and corner weight. ONE word...perfection. Everything literally was perfect. Transformed everything and the driving experience. All for the same price as the AFCOs and cheaper than Öhlins.

THAT is what I want for my FiST
