Hey guys, been reading a good bit the last few days about the rear brake options for the car, am I understanding it all correctly that you can use the rear calipers(with brackets)rotors/pads from a 02-04 SVT Focus and it all just bolts onto the car without any other modification? or did I miss something?

You will reuse your stock caliper. You do however need the SVT Focus caliper bracket. That will be the hardest part to source. EBay might be your best bet, or see if you can find a new part from the big box auto parts stores. Caliper brackets are a common replacement. If you are reusing your caliber, you are also reusing your dad's. All you will need is the bracket and the larger rotor off the SVT Focus.

Get the brackets from Gold Coast Racing. Then order your choice of rotors for the SVT and you can use your existing calipers. Easy installation, but if you run into the issue of not enough slack in the parking brake cable. Look for the first clamp that secures the cable to the car and pry them open, then you will be able to pull enough cable through to get the parking brake cable hooked up.

Here is what it looks like completed.
The rotor and bracket (silver) are from the SVT Focus.
Everything else is FiST.

What a difference between SVT and Fiesta brakes?
The FiST rear rotor is 253mm.
The Focus SVT rear rotor is 278mm.

So of course the rotor diameter is different, the bracket is different to space out the caliper to fit the larger rotor.
The caliper has some minor carting differences but fits exactly the same.
For these reasons you only need to change the bracket and rotor.
You will continue to use the FiST caliper and pads.

BTW: there is not enough difference between the SVT and FiST fronts to justify the cost of parts.
This is why most of the aftermarket front brake kits are much larger and/or wider.
