I noticed today that the soft rubber that goes around the sunroof has a rip in one spot. Thankfully, you can buy it separately from the glass for about $40ish.
I was wondering if anybody has ever replaced just that alone or has had to remove it for some reason.
I see that it sits in a channel in the glass, but not sure if there's an adhesive that goes in there or just pops in dry. I pulled on it a little, but couldn't tell, I'm afraid to mess with it much more until the new one arrives.
I'm guessing there's no glue, but can't say for sure. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
