Does anyone have a list of ID hose diameters & quantity of hose clamps used for the OEM boost hoses? I'm looking to replace all of the OEM hose clamps with T-Bolt clamps. Everytime I check the clamps, they're loose. Thanks.

Already did, no specs, just pictures.

However, if we assume the two big clamps are for the IC, these are 2-1/2" dia. clamps.
If we use a little interpolating, after measuring the diameter of each of these hose clamps on the screen, we come up with the following sizes and quantities:

I've had better luck with good worm clamps (better than OEM quality) than T-bolt clamps.

T-bolt clamps can be too wide and they can also crush pipes easily, plus they are harder to fit in tight spaces.

Especially on the FiST where most piping is composite, I would say just replace the OEM clamps with some quality worm clamps.

I've personally used proper worm clamps on cars with over 35psi run through the pipes with no issues.

The Murray clamps are pretty amazing: http://www.murraycorp.com/constant-tension-clamps.html

The turbo seal clamps are $6.00 to 7.00 bucks a piece, 10 pieces per order required! Does anyone know of any other place that sells these clamps one at a time?

This could cost me $$$$$ if I purchase these clamps in 10 packs.

Doesn't HAVE to be that specific brand. There are a bunch of good quality worm clamp brands out there.

I agree, and am looking at all brands of dual grip hose clamps. I need hose ODs for the OEM hoses. I guess I'll bite the bullet and measure this weekend. I wanted to get the clamps before I put the IC in this weekend.

I found dual band clamps for decent prices. I'm going to buy the Mountune hoses, then the clamps, and then replace everything. I wish Mountune would come out with their cat back exhaust already. I was going to pull the trigger on the Cobb (may still) but I wanted to see/compare prices/hear the Mountune exhaust.

O.K. I bit the bullet and bought the Mountune boost pipes for $399.00 + tax, cuz I live in So Cal and so do they. I got the hose clamp sizes from Randy at Mountune. I have a Levels IC I'm putting in next weekend, so I'm going to be ordering the following sizes and quantities. If you are putting in an FMIC that has the straight outlet (Like the Levels), you will need 2 more SAE 44 clamps. I decided to go with constant tension clamps, since dual bands are more expensive and harder to source.

I found that I can order them from O'Reilly, so I will provide their part numbers also

These are SAE hose clamp sizes, so I will provide the min and max sizes for those of us who don't speak SAE

After looking at the dual band clamps, and pricing them out, I found a relatively good deal by going to two different companies. Of course Amazon for the Murray turbosmart TS-HCT-M075 dual band hose clamps. They sell a pack with 2 clamps for $23.58. I bought 4, so my price was $50.94 including tax. I found a great site that sells Murray turbo seal clamps for $6.00 to $7.00 per clamp called McKinneycorp.com. The 10 other clamps cost about $65.00. The constant tension clamps from O'Reilly are back ordered, and their cost was $97.66 + tax = (8% in Riverside) = $105.47 vs about $116.00. Small price to pay to avoid leaks and having to tighten up the clamps every few months.

Reviving old threads :)

westcoaST,

I plan on getting the Turbosmart / Murray constant tension clamps, too. Here's a list of the clamps with metric sizes that some Aussie guy from another forum wrote after he got the Mountune kit.

Size 44 52-78mm x2
Size 36 44-70mm x4
Size 28 32-57mm x2
Size 24 25-51mm x2
Size 20 19-44mm x2

Here's a list of parts I created. I noticed the part numbers probably corresponds with the SAE sizes (e.g. SAE 24 = M-7024)

QTY SAE size Clamp range P/N Seller Price
2 44 2-5/16" to 3-1/4" Turbosmart TS-HCT-M075 2.500 - 3.375" Amazon $24.87 for 2 (incl tax)
2 36 1-13/16" to 2-3/4" Turbo Seal Clamp - 2 1/2" M-7036 McKinney.com $7.74
2 28 1-5/16" to 2-1/4" Turbo Seal Clamp - 2" M-7028 McKinney.com $8.10
4 24 1-1/16" to 2" Turbo Seal Clamp - 1 3/4" M-7024 McKinney.com $7.60
2 20 13/16" to 1-3/4" Turbo Seal Clamp - 1 1/2" M-7020 McKinney.com $7.65

$78 for McKinney order + unknown shipping cost + ~$25 for Amazon. Total will probably be $115 with shipping.

Can you tell me if the following part numbers look correct?

It's been about 3 years, how have the Murray clamps worked?

Are there certain clamp locations that were more prone to getting loose than others?

I planned on swapping my FMIC so I'll have to remove my bumper anyways, so the two going on those connections are a given. But how easy are the rest to get to?

Lots of questions, I know. Thanks in advance.

I am also ordering these next month from Summit (all TurboSmart), since I have a credit there I want to use up.

I already have the Mountune charge hose/hot side single pipe kit, and the cp-e IC, so I really need to know the EXACT TurboSmart part numbers/quantities I need to order from Summit.

Do we want the outside diameter of the pipe/hose together to be in the middle of the range (as slappy76 states above), or more towards the high range of the clamp chosen?? [dunno]
