Starting this thread as an outpost for technical data on the avail intercoolers.

I will update as new info/products are offered.

The core dimensions are taken by the posted manufacturer specs. If you own one of these and find the measurements in the real world are different, please let me know!

One thing to note is that size isn't everything. Core design itself makes a performance difference.

Items with a ** after their name are not true bolt ons and require fabrication.

Don't leave out Airtec, 710mm x 150mm x 70mm per Auto Specialists (27.952in x 5.905in x 2.755in), bar and plate core, cast aluminum end tanks, available in silver or powdercoated black. Feel free to round the inches as you wish :)

I like this, it's very descriptive and informative. The next step is being able to show some datalogs to support charge temp reduction stand-alone or with associated mods.

Can a note be point in for ones that are not a direct bolt-on and ones that require end-user to fabricate or source mounting parts?

Is your and/or your passengers life worth a few hp?
That piece of tin foil isn't going to stop a 8,000 diesel truck... But... I'm sure we are 2-6 months away from someone fabbing an after market front brace. Some c
Platforms have 3-4 options on where to buy one.

Only reason mine is still there is that I'm worried about it changing the cars handling.

Another great idea. Shipping maybe would hurt my feelings.

Of course... Then it wouldn't pass USDM crash test ratings. And if it doesn't do that and I hit a mail box, I could die :)

That really is a great idea... I have no idea where to start. Its like Europe has a different internet than us...

Drove wrecklessly through a neighborhood, lost control at 50mph taking out a brick mailbox and rolling a couple times.
Everybody thinks it won't happen to them or that a certain safety structure won't be what saves them, but realistically speaking the possibility is always there. I want power as well, but there's a reason that people complain about how difficult the crash bar is to drill into. Altering or removing it simply for a few degrees of possible cooling could literally be the determining factor of whether or not you get to say good night to your loved ones.

People with performance and modified performance cars have the tendency to want to test it out and experience the performance/mods they've purchased-and sometimes that doesn't end well. It's your vehicle and decision, just make sure you're thinking clearly and aware of what the end-result can realistically be. Nobody ever plans the accident they get into.

Also, are we certain it's not an integral part of the chassis that adds stiffness by solidly tieing in the front frame rails?

Wonder what the cost on it is... Many people have told me that airtec tall cooler is pointless unless it has veins in it to direct the air. I don't thing it does... BUT I STILL WANT IT !! Lol.
I can nothing about "looks", but I want the front bumper filled with cooler, lol

That is my concern. I would replace my bar with a 4" thick alum finned version, lol

Ironicly, that was sort of done by a mail box !! Lol.

I randomly pick "mail box" out the blue.
