I enjoy watching cars and their prices and inventory.

Anyways, only 141 Fiesta ST's left for sale in the nation.
Looks like this is the end folks. Time to buy if your in the market. Anyone shopping right now, let us know how much the dealers are willing to budge.

I had my eye on a 19 no option car for $16,689. Im assuming that included all possible rebates (military, college graduate, AARP, Magic Unicorn, etc), but it finally sold.

Showing dealers new cars for less then they are advertising used cars for doesnt seem to stop them from holding their stupid high prices.

If you want a trip to Florida to get one, Sarasota Ford has a no option one listed for $17,4xx including a plane ticket and one night at the Hyatt. Brandon Ford in Tampa has one with Navigation for $16,879.

Not many orange ones. Mostly black, a lot of white and magnetic. Just did a search and there are 11 orange ones total. 27 magnetic. 54 black. 14 white. That doesn't add up to 138, the total number left, so somewhere some dealers aren't listing the colors right for the search engine.

For anyone buying, Brandon Ford is really the price you see is price you pay (plus tax + tag). If you go there ask for James Markunas. Best dealer guy I've ever met.

Am I crazy for considering a second FiST? A stock one to compliment my hybrid turbo'd FiST LOL. Trying to keep miles off this car.

Also considering CPO BRZ/FRS/86 in good shape

I would say you are crazy for a second fiesta. Get a BRZ or Miata.
Heh. Yeah, prob right. Why have two cars with same driving experience. Might as well get something fun, light, rwd too.

One thing I've noticed about the FT86 used market, these cars are beat to hell a lot of times. Also there are an insane amount of salvage/rebuilt cars out there, probably due to dorifto gone wrong

I know a friend with a SR powered 240sx who was considering a FRS/BRZ all it took was accelerating against the guy from a stoplight with his stock not modifed SR and he was like ya no. FRS/BRZ are so overwhelmingly underpowered, you are better off finding a 240sx fastback. more engine options and rising in value.

Not really looking for another project car TBH. I'd rather keep whatever I get stock. And the power thing....I get it, but that's why I have the FiST!

There is a reason I own a FIST and not a FRS/BRZ. Coming from RWD and drifting to me the lack of power in the FRS/BRZ eliminates it from the desire to buy. I would only want to modify it for more power and seeing as its not an easy path from stock due to being a NA car its a no go.
Even if I bought another 240sx It has more TQ stock than a FRS I can drop a SR in it in a afternoon. As it was the engine that came in the car in Japan and being a turbo engine can easily be modded with sock internals to 250-300hp.
If I buy something newer its got to have the power stock from the factory otherwise not worth the time.
I personally will either buy a classic Japanese aka 240z, NSX,FD, or something along the lines of a used Cayman or S2000.

I was looking at dealer inventory here in the greater Bay Area CA and within a 100 mile radius and we've had very low inventory for over a month. Currently there's only one and it's roughly 70 miles from me. Looking at a 100 mile radius from downtown Los Angeles, there are 6 magnetic and two black ones left.

There are about 6-8 in Southern California. Sunrise in Fontana, Star Ford in Glendale, Hemborg in Perris, Cal Worthington in Long Beach, Puente Hills Ford, these are all 19's

Larry Green still has a black 18' they'll get go for under $17K

Yucca Valley Ford has '18 as well black with black wheels.

I couldn't get the pricing I wanted down here, so off to Colorado to Phil Long Ford, I hope pick it up by Dec 4th.

At one point I had two Mazda3s. One was a turbo hatchback with a little over 300whp, and then a sedan with just basic bolt-ons. The sedan was my daily and the hatch for weekends or when I just needed a little bit of extra fun.
Oh, and they were both Winning Blue.

Before that, I had two Mazda MX-6s. One mild bolt-ons, the other had a JDM engine swap.

Lastly, my wife and I both had MINI Cooper S Clubmans. Hers was auto, mine was manual with bolt-ons.

I say all that, to say this... You're not crazy

Why am I not surprised the FiST community also likes an underpowered car like the BRZ/FRS twins?

The FiST is often compared to the BRZ/FRS not sure why the potential of the stock engine is higher than the FA20 which is why engine swaps are popular....

This car (FiST) is a giant killer all you have to do is untap it's potential.
