Why am I not surprised the FiST community also likes an underpowered car like the BRZ/FRS twins?

The FiST is often compared to the BRZ/FRS not sure why the potential of the stock engine is higher than the FA20 which is why engine swaps are popular....

This car (FiST) is a giant killer all you have to do is untap it's potential.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my FiST. E30 tune on my turbo setup is an absolute blast. I'm just at the point where I'm ready to stop racking up so many miles on my car (70 miles a day for my commute) and so I'm looking into a second car. I've owned three miatas in the past and I kind of miss the balance of those and RWD/playful nature. BRZ/FRS Twins have a lot of that character with more usable space than a Miata.

Underpowered doesn't bother me. Thats why I have a 280whp FiST :)

@CSM I am curious if you know what whp you would get on straight 91 octane with your components.
I've posted this before so I'll do it here
Here is my progression on my FiST:

Stock: 174whp
MP215: 184whp
Dizzy 93: 200whp
Dizzy E30: 210whp
X37 on 93: 260whp
X37 on E30: 278whp

Prob 250whp on 91 octane

I have 2... a 2014 with 67K for fun and a 2018 that’s pristine. Also have two BMW M5’s and two Ducati 1098R’s. So yeah, it’s crazy, I can say that.

250 whp would be pretty decent, thanks for the info. 278 whp must be a extremely fun though

Would you happen to recall the cost of those mods?

Just to update everyone.

118 LEFT! (just checking autotrader. And I imagine many are ST lines incorrectly listed)

Actually I looked at every single one of them on Autotrader day before yesterday. They are all true ST's. There is one dealer in Ohio that has something like a dozen of them.
