Im not trying to argue with you, and I and everyone else understands you meant get instruction "even if it costs $500" as you said. I am just trying to give a different perspective then yours, and show people that a $500 track day with instruction is not the ONLY "right" way to get on track. If I had full track days with instruction for $200, YES GO DO THAT. I dont care how many hundereds of hours of track time (racing and track days) I have, there is always something more to learn.
I'm trying to relay my experience that a TNIA event is a safe/fun way to get on track, and for those that aren't ready to sign up for a $500 track day, can be a great first (2nd, 50th) experience.
