"Strawberry bumpy crinkle"
^I love this^

SBC stands for "Special Brilliant Coating"
The best way to describe it is a black chrome, or chrome gunmetal.

It's a super cool color, but does have the highest additional cost out of any of the colors Enkei offers.

The center wheel in these pics is a pretty good IRL depiction:

I've seen this in person (RT Tuning in Montgomeryville, Pa. has one on display in their showroom, in an 18x9 Scoobie/Evo fitment), and yup, it IS wicked looking!! [twothumb]

Are these 16x8? What is the status of this @OAKOS Automotive ? Is this something we will see in coming months?
We are still working out if these will have enough popularity to do a run of them or not. With everything going on right now with the virus, this project has sort of been put on the back burner.

Expect to see an update in the next month or so.

No worries, I got a bit excited when that photo was posted. Was thinking about upgrading my DD set since I need new tires here shortly and thought these may be available sooner than expected. Do you guys have any other offerings in 16x8 or 16x7.5 in 4x108 bolt pattern?

These will sell like hot cakes imo. Yes they are more then the other 16x8 option but Iā€™m sure everyone is sick of having same damn wheels on a fiesta.

True, but it's not like there are no FiSTs running around with RPF1s on them, even besides all of the H/Street class autocrossers, for which the currently available 16x7 iteration of this wheel is the requisite 'go to' wheel, for all of the correct reasons.

Straight on, side view sight, will not reveal the width of any wheels.
The same models look/appear exactly the same from that perspective, regardless of width. [wink]

I am also seeking a unique wheel, which no one else has on these cars, and which few others would even like on these cars, but I have a hard time justifying $425.00 to $500.00 A WHEEL(talking to you, Braid and Speedline Corse! [mad]) in order to achieve this, even with the 'bonus' we are all supposed to get in the near future on it's way

But there are many out there that wanna 8 inch wheel to track car or
Autocross with more tire. We need more 8 inch options.

ABSOLUTELY!!! [twothumb] Bring on as many as the various manufacturers can design and build!

I was just questioning the whole uniqueness/exclusivity thing, since yes, there will always be less of these out there than the Dekagrams, and even in an area with A LOT of modded FiSTs running around one will NOT 'pass themselves' as often in an identically wheeled car while rolling the RPF1s vs. the Dekas.

But they are far from being really rare as far as wheels go, which of course does NOT matter one bit if one is in an area where there are no other FiSTs around anyway, as then even the factory boat anchors are 'rare'. LOL

YES, they ARE phenomenal, strong, LIGHT, and very high quality hoops though! [thumb]

Funny enough I NEVER see FiST's in my area, let alone modded ones. Because Texas. But the one time I see a FiST it's another Kona Blue on Bronze Dekagram's lol (my color and exact wheels). I've been debating selling my powdercoated OEM wheels w/ Indy 500's and picking up a set of RPF1's to either daily or autocross on. Depends how much I can get for my OEM setup, the tires are still pretty new.

I specifically wanted a 16x8 setup but wasn't pleased with all my options, hence the Deka's. If they came out with a silver or (preferably) an SBC option in 16x8 I may have to impulsively pick up a set. After making the switch to 16's I don't care for 17's anymore.

Yeah, I also am not too fond of most 17" setups for our rides any more, save for maybe those discontinued/vaporware OZed Leggendas in 17x7, like Woods247 has.

Despite the weight penalty, I would re-think that IF someone built a MAX performance, or 200/100 tread wear tire, for us in a 225/40-17, since I think those would look wicked on a satin black set of OZed Superturismo LMs, or even on my 17x8 Pro Race 1.2s.

Sadly, even the taller sidewall than factory 215/40-17s (like the RS-RRs on my 1.2s) now look too 'rubber bandish' to me now that I am running the 205/50-16 Neo Gens on the Dekagrams as a daily driver/most seasons setup. [:(]

I really want the 16x8 Braid Full Race As in gold, but I am not paying $425.00 EACH for those before shipping/tax, and they are not exactly featherweight at that price @ 17.6# (but most likely near indestructible), despite being flow formed. [:(]

The 16x8 RPF1s in SBC would look wicked, but if offered at all will be creeping up in price towards those Braids I want, and albeit MUCH lighter than the Full Race As, I am not in love enough with the spoke length aesthetics of RPF1s in any size under 17s/18s, (like on the Scoobies/Evo apps) to justify spending that kind of coin on them.

Same goes for the 6ULs for me, HATE their looks in 15s/16s, LOVE them in 17" and up sizes.

There is exactly ONE other FiST I see regularly in my immediate area, a Kona with either factory wheels/tires in summer, or a set of those Tire Rack Sport Edition A12s in silver for winter.
Never got a chance to talk to the owner, but I seriously doubt it is modded at all, like not even a RMM.

But they could do a 17x7 +43, any interest in that size?
When we decided on our first run we found that a lot of people wanted to drop down the wheel size to fit a taller tire, rather than fitting a wheel that is essentially the same size as stock.

There's no reason we couldn't do a run of that size, but we would probably need to guarantee the demand with a group buy.
