^^^THANK YOU for that pic of the bronze Dekas on a magnetic! [twothumb]

205/45s, correct??
It's surprisingly hard to find pictures of this combo! Tires are 195/50 all seasons, I got this setup used from a guy with an ST line. I plan on RE71R's or indy 500s in the future, preferably in a 225 width IMG_20200126_174058_508.jpg IMG_20200126_174056_604.jpg IMG_20200126_174100_358.jpg

^^^I am shocked that he got any place to actually put 195s on an 8" wide wheel, given how reluctant most are to put even a 205 on one!!

Did a few things to the interior lately. Updated to sync 3.4 and used a forscan cable to enable on screen climate controls and the ST splash screen. I've got a backup camera on order, and plan on installing it next week. Also swapped recaros from a 2018 ST2 focus, it is not reccomended but possible. They came really cheap from a local junkyard though, so I don't regret it. 20200222_173048.jpg they need a shampoo and a few wrinkles massaged out. On the engine side, I threw in a mishimoto catch can.

I have the same ones on order for my magnetic. [thumb]

I plan on using some 205/50-16 Neo Gens on them for my 'in between weather' (DRY COLD) daily driver wheels (at factory ride height for now) to replace the rubber band AS/3s on the factory wheels setup completely.

I HOPE I like the looks of this combo, IN PERSON. [wink]

I also plan to get another set in satin black, and put some 225/45-16 gumballs on those for summer only use, so PLEASE let us know how that setup clears the wheel wells, or rubs in any conditions, lowered or not.

Did a few minor things, I'm getting really happy with my car. I shampooed the seats and finally had the fender painted. It's not a perfect match, but pretty damn good for $800 less than what the body shop quoted. I've also been having hesitations or "skips" at high rpm, after talking to Brian at JST I tightened up my plug gap and it's been perfect. Swapped the trans fluid for redline DCTF as well, my crunch in third went away. Coolerworx is next up, then some sticky tires for the summer. I've been extremely bored, so did cheap diy stuff. First I took of the grill and shaved it, I also painted the crashbar a flat black. This was purely for aesthetics, it looks better to me. Tedious to do, but it passes the 5 foot test great. I wasn't expecting any improvements, but temperatures seems to stay about 5Ā° cooler. IMG_20200401_202040_357.jpg
Also having nothing else to do I clayed the car, polished then waxed it. End result looks amazing, but it doesn't last with all of the pollen around. IMG_20200401_201959_523.jpg

thanks to Ron, who gave me a great deal on a coolerworx setup! It's on it's way, looking forward to some color in the cabin!

Thinking about pulling the trigger on Gold Dekagram. Youā€™ve pretty much sold me on them.
They're bronze actually, but yeah, they look GREAT on these cars, especially on the Magnetic color ones! [thumb]

Which wheels are on your car in that avatar autocross pic??

I know it wasn't directed at me, but dekagrams are my second favorite wheel for the fiesta. My favorite is the sparco terra's in bronze, but I didn't pick them up due to the width

I was bored so I put on a mountune badge I've had for a while, and printed some diffuser fins I found on thingiverse IMG_20200422_224829_343.jpg IMG_20200422_225006_652.jpg

Bored? Get the clear 3rd brake light from Ron. I think it would look best on a white FiST, but, being clear, it works with any color. Stupid simple install, so won't cure your boredom for long, but it was a welcome distraction for me ;)

I'm already waiting on one order now! Plus, the red may or may not match some other accents I have coming

Shifter installed! It needed heaps of adjustment, but it's not hard to do. The feel is amazing, it's so sprung and tactile. It feels like a rifle bolt! Of all the mods I've done, this makes the car feel the most "special" IMG_20200505_134144_348.jpg

I want to do this mod as well, eventually, and that means AFTER; suspension, brakes, and a limited slip diff, but probably before any turbo kits.

I am sure that, once adjusted, and setup properly, it has insanely great shift 'feel', to the point that it is approaching that 'light switch' feel of a Miata/S2000 with a short shifter installed. [thumb]

My only worry/hesitation about doing this mod, even eventually, is that it looks so totally 'FULL race', that I will then be compelled to do race shell seats, a Sparco race steering wheel, and possibly at least a multi point roll bar to mount the 6 point harnesses to (and then a digital dash, sueded dash top, etc., etc, and it never ends!), just so that it does not look 'out of place' in an otherwise factory interior. LOL
