Changed my oil out:
Mobil 1 5w20
New oem drain plug
New oem FL-910S filter

Also if you don’t have yourself a swivel gripper go get you one. Works great without damaging the filter itself. This is the size that works for the fist.

Anyone have the cable braided dipstick? I have a 2014 fist and it sucks so bad to get an accurate reading. Any tricks to read this correctly? I heard the newer fists have a normal flat metal one? Is it something the dealer would swap out?
That's strange... My 2014 has the thin blade steel version with the little V cut outs as the high and low reading mars.. Yours looks similar to the Mazda BT50 utility...

Removed the symposer which was a major headache. I was able to use vise grips to hold the top clamp open but it wouldn't lock and fell off. After the third try, the tab broke off so I couldn't compress it anymore. I stuck a flathead screwdriver in between the clamp and hose and twisted the blade. I then used a 2nd screwdriver to move the clamp down enough to get some lube in there. After much twisting and pulling it popped free. This makes it easy to then get to the lower clamp and that one did lock, but a good portion of it was stuck to the hose. A fellow youtuber suggested getting to that from the bottom of the car which worked great in pushing the clamp up and over the lip. The only problem is this was not needed with the plug I got. The illustration on the Woosh site is incorrect for the billet aluminum plug. The plug is for the top of the hose only.
The improvement is much quieter in the cabin and allows you to actually hear the turbo which is how it should be.
I feel your pain! that thing sucks to get out, well done. I have the one you got, I think the silicone one he sells is for the lower part of the hose.

That's so weird, It might just be for a few years for the US cars. I tracked down the numbers from other posts and eBay hunting so I can order the metal blade one.

part # dj5z‑6750‑b
This is the number on the handle itself: Bm5g-6750-bb

Check light never went out on it's own for the evap purge code after I replaced the lines. Took a trip to O'reillys for the free code scanner, no more dash light.

Took Cynthia (my car's name) to work today. Barely started due to hardly driving it and the neverstart battery hitting 4 years. Taking a trip to interstate tomorrow for a new battery and tender.

Got an accessport today! Waiting on my one step colder plugs, Depo downpipe, and my base tune from JST. Flashed the Cobb stage 3 tune loaded until I get my parts in the mail. Great drivability improvement over stock. I am so excited to get my pro tune done 93&e30 to get the full potential out of my bean [emoji4]

Installed my downpipe, spark plugs, gfb+, whoosh v3 fmic and uploaded my dizzy tune.

No pics cause I was too busy making up new cuss words, while trying to get the heat shield off and o2 sensors out.

That's the hope haha, you seem to have a lot of experience. I have a question, is their a risk of hurting anything running the Cobb Stage 3 tune without a DP while I wait a week or so for my downpipe for my pro tune?

NOPE* Those OTS tunes are made for stock setup. I ran the Stratified Tune with only a RMM and high flow air filter with OEM intercooler.for a bit. No issue whatsoever.
