Ethanol Mixing

I don't know where to put this, so here it is.

E85 is not available in Germany, because they got rid of it in 2016 since they were not designing cars to run it. Could I mix E100 with 98 RON E5 to create an E30 mixture? I have asked the local manufacturer of the ethanol, and he doesn't know of anyone that does that. I figured it would take about 11L, about 3 gallons, of ethanol to make an E30 mixture. The cost of the ethanol would be about $25 plus the price of gas. I don't mind doing this once in a while, but I am unsure if you can mix E100 with normal fuel to create the blend. The kicker is, the ethanol was not designed to run in cars, only fireplaces and things. I really don't want to blow up a 2019 engine with something that is unproven.

Here is the link to the stuff

I wish they sold this stuff at the pumps.

Any Ideas?

You can, certainly find a mix that would work.

Since you’re normal gas is E5 and your E is E100 you’d add about 3.2 gallons to your tank for the first full up and the rest your regular gas.

Then you’d add about 2.7 gallons once your gas light comes on (~15-17%).

E30 is great and all, but that sounds expensive and like a lot of work compared to a pump gas tune.

There are Ethanol Blend calculators (apps) that you can use to get an estimate of what you would need. It's also good if you can test the E100 to make sure it actually is 100% ethanol before hand.
