I think it was about 15 business days to arrive if I recall. It does come from Asia so due to Covid- no idea on timeframe. I'm also on the east coast of the US.

Wow that looks good and at a fraction of the cost of the RedlineGoods kit. I ordered the genuine leather with black stitching. If anyone knows what type of thread is used to stich on steering wheel covers, I'd like to find it in white. Their site claims options but only red and black are available.

They have install videos on YouTube but I found this one way more thorough. It doesn't look hard, just time consuming and detail oriented.

After something like 5 or 6 hours i got it done. A tedious, tedious process but the results are more than worth it! I think i stitched it wrong but i think the pattern looks good enough. What matters is that the wheel feels absolutely amazing. It's like driving a whole new car. I've driven a recent gen M3 and it reminds me of that steering wheel. For 50 bucks and few hours labor, I'm happy with the results.

But this wrap isn't cut precisely at all. There were some areas where the wrap got around the wheel easily and others where it just didn't. Also, while it was centered on the bottom, the top was slightly off. As the OP also experienced, mine had extra material by the thumb grips (by the controls). Oddly, the extra material was only on the left side for me. The right side stitched up fine. I ended up cutting away the excess and using the provided double stick tape. I'm also having issues with the leather remaining under the ST badge. I'm just gonna glue it. It seems the badge doesn't go back on tight enough to hold the top in place. If you look closely at the pic you can see where a bit of the leather has slipped out from under the badge.

I also went to Joan's, a sewing store, to get the white thread i couldn't order from them. If anyone wants to do the same you need thread for quitling/crocheting, not sewing - that shits too thin.

Again, for 50 bucks this is a no brainer. It feels REALLY nice. The leather is very soft and supple. The thickness is substantial. Just do it. And it matches my RedlineGoods stuff very well. Interior starting to look almost classy, dare i say.

Mine just arrived in the mail two days ago. The quality looks amazing but not looking forward to the task of stitching this while sitting in my parked car for hours lol. I'm wondering if I should just take off my wheel to see if it makes it easier.

I started it sitting in the car but took the wheel off. I can't even imagine the trouble i would have had if the wheel was still on the car lol.
Be careful IF you pull the wheel off. The clock spring pops off easily and then you have 2 feet of ribbon sitting on your lap. It was a real panic moment for me but i managed to wind it all back in.

Okay awesome! I will look into how to take of the wheel properly, its something I haven't done yet and don't want a face full of air bag or those ribbons you mentioned.

I did mine one a separate wheel (IE not in car). Looks good, I would have prefered the white over the red stitching to match my interior as well.

A quick FYI...It turns out I didn't stitch it wrong. My pattern looks that way because I got it with black stitching, which blends with the leather. I didn't want the only other option, red, so there wasn't much i could do there. To get the criss-cross look usually seen on steering wheels i would need the stitching that comes on the wrap to also be white - which Mewant didn't offer. My only other option to get that look would be RedlineGoods at almost triple the cost. No matter. I'm still happy with it!
