I bet that negative camber helps a good amount though right? I’ve never really looked into doing that. But the guy who rolled my fenders told me he did as much as he could without affecting the look and that if I still rubbed I might need to camber it a bit. Would you suggest that?
Yes I would besides fender clearance it provides more grip in the corners and improves turn in on wider wheels and tires.
I recall you mention trimming the bolts on the front fenders yes? Not sure exactly what they're called, but fondly remember they created a new groove on your new set of tires iirc.
Ya the lowest fender/ bumper mount was rubbing on the tire . I used a Dremel tool to trim off the part hanging below the bolt it helped. it was literally just bumper material. Also Ford literally used a metal circlip bolt seat for the the bolt to thread into that can twist around on one side of my car it had been twisted downwards during one of my bumper remove and replace procedures. it was the main culprit in the grooving of the tire. I twisted it up as far as it would go so it was out of the way. Then trimmed.

I paid $100 for the fronts. The rear doesn’t rub really. The super sport springs drop is around 2 inches I believe. I’d think maybe an inch drop would be better to not rub at all. Many people recommend the mountune or eibach springs. I’d say those would be a better choice for this tire size. I got the wheels and tires after purchasing the springs so I had to make them fit 😅 it’s all good though I’m really happy with it. But I’m sure others would think different
I would be willing to bet that the Swift Spec Rs would not rub at all with that setup, again, depending on the offset of the wheels used. [wink]

thanks for the suggestion. I might look into switching to a different spring set up in the future, so I will definitely look into these. currently the offset I have is +45

the only thing about adding camber (from what I’ve seen) is it makes the wheels/tires look abnormal. You get a sort of squat stance. I never liked seeing the wheels like that because it looks wrong 😝 But that’s just me.

Oh yeah I get where you are coming from. I feel that way when I see crazy amounts of camber though. a little bit of it for better grip and clearance is fine with me. I think its not that noticeable. I could be wrong. @Dpro could you post some pics of how your car sits for reference? I am now thinking it would help me out with my current set up. thank you in advance

I think you are too used to seeing the ultra stanced crowd who opt for negative camber for the sake of crazy decamber. That was a thing for a minute in Japan back in the early part of the century in the drift scene along with super stretched tires to fit.
Thing is the reaction to that like our country these days is go full on polar opposite . I.E. no tolerance of even slight barely visible stretch and any negative camber. Both of which have been proven to increase handling characteristics of almost any car if not overdone.
Though the people who have over done has caused the knee jerk reaction to disdain it even in the slightest.

I will add the official disclaimer for M Sport this is tarmac specific not offroad. Offroad i.e. rally has completely different tire and wheels aspects.

^^^NOTHING at all wrong with the looks/aesthetics of that camber (I can barely tell it is cambered). [twothumb]
Same goes for the (very) slight stretch of the 205s on the Dekas (the Titans with the 215s I personally consider a 'square' wheel/tire fitment, and cannot even be labeled as 'stretch').

BTW; depending on conditions/surface looseness, even top level rally teams will possibly use some negative camber. [wink]

On tarmac rallies, with semi-slick tires, it is a GIVEN.

yes I have to agree. Any slight camber for me def has a sort of knee jerk reaction. The camber isn’t too bad on yours but not my style. I do like that you can fit slightly wider tire. But if I had the choice enteren rolling the fenders to get a 215 or camber I would pick rolling the fenders. My eyes just can’t unsee the camber stance lol.
