Has anyone used the Sony Ford accessory sub? They were close to $600 but I can get a brand new one for $380 and wondered if they are any good or should I just make my own? I have two MB Quart shallow 10s and a Phoenix Gold amp that I can do something with. I don't want a big box but rather something close to the Ford one, possibly on both sides of the trunk.

That looks like the sedan trunk. I would be very surprised if that fit in the ST hatch as the trunks are not at all similar.

I have a Sony sub in my '13 focus titanium.
It definitely improves the strength of tunes and adds decent quality sound but it doesn't hit like some aftermarket stuff. Does that 380 tag include the Amp? I'm pretty sure I have a factory Amp under there too

For whatever it’s worth, I added the JBL subwoofer that fits inside of the spare tire. Pretty happy with it

I thought it was Sony but it appears to be an amplified sub made by kicker. I have a sedan so I know it will fit but if you look into the fitment, it says it fits the ST as well. Very strange. Does anyone have one of these? Audio/Video/Audio accessories for 2019 Ford Fiesta | Village Ford (villagefordparts.com)

I have both the compact aluminum spare and the steel spare. Do you think the JBL would fit either? I would rather keep the floor flat if possible.

Does the sedan have a similar false floor to the ST’s?
It's lower. I noticed that when I put the ST rear seats in. The brackets on the back side of the ST seats have a small shelf area a few inches higher then the sedan seat brackets. I didn't take note of the area near the back of the boot/trunk/hatch area. My carpet board is sitting under the brackets

10-4. I was going to say you can make/buy a shallow box to put under the false floor pretty easily but sounds like that’s probably a no-go if it’s lower than the ST which is already pretty tight. For $380 you know it’ll fit and it’s 200W RMS which won’t bump by any means but it’ll let you take the bass out of the speakers which made the overall sound quality totally tolerable for me.

I like heavy bass but the front speakers get muddy when I turn them up and I know I will blow them puppies in no time. If I could hand off the bass to the box that would be great or like I said I have 2 shallow MB Quart 10s doing nothing so I could make some side boxes for them. I do not want to take up valuable trunk space like I used to when I was thumping 15" earthquakes and rocking HiFonics amps. I'm too old for all that.

I have 200W 8” in the trunk and it’s perfect. I think either way would serve you well. I may just use the 10s since you have them already but it’ll cost you more to build boxes and get an amp to power them most likely.

I have a phoenix gold amp I'm not using. I looked up the specs for my subs, they go well in a .5 cuft sealed box for tight bass. I'm getting old and lazy though so I may just go with the ford/kicker setup if it indeed exists. I can't find a single person who has one of these in their Fiesta. Another option that I used in my Lotus was to get a Bose box from a tahoe/suburban/escalade. It's a small rectangle box ported with a 6 1/2" in it. I also had bass shakers under the seats. My mind is always turning.

Oddly enough both door tweeters only work intermittently and yeah the factory Sony speakers suck and I have no sub but its the firat car I don't crank the volume on and want to upgrade the sound system. I did a full pioneer in my last car but this one makes so much fun noises I'd rather listen to the cars own soundtrack that for the first time in my life you won't hear the music before seeing me lol.
