Sunroof is in a horrible spot in these cars, not really one you will look out of very easily.
You're right. It's farther back than I would like, but I think it's for structural reasons. It still brightens up the dark interior, though, and I really like it.
If you're really into performance, you don't want the extra weight up on top, but it's fine for a more casual driver.

Some like the Recaro Lites in the ST. We did not after having full Recaros on 2 other cars. No adjustable front bolster, no sale for us. As to sunroof I love mine. Get what you want not what other people think you should have. We love the stock seat for our 4-8K road trips annually. Watch for early wear on the Recaros The 16 up came with the new heads. Stay away from 14 & 15's. The fix was a NHTSA approved band-aid. If you buy a non Nav 16 make sure the Sync 3 has been upgraded to new unit, Ford could not update the Non-Nav Sync 3 systems and changed them out under warranty.
I'm in your camp. The first FiST I drove had the Recaros, and while I'm not fat, I just thought they would be uncomfortable for long trips. I've done 2 long cross-country trips with the base seats and they're comfy for hours on end.

A fair number of people have added an LSD, so you will see them out there. But it is correct that they were never offered as an option from the factory in the US.

On the Mk7s at least, it was never offered even in England/Europe either, save for being part of that Special Edition M-Sport battleship grey variant.

If I recall correctly the ST200 did not have a limited slip either. It had shorter gears, quicker steering, larger rear brakes and a MP215 tune.

True, but M-Sport took some ST200s and made even more limited edition 'specials' out of them, including installing a Quaife limited slip.

Thanks.
I am looking at a 2019 that is at Pacific Auto Center in Costa Mesa and their listing says "limited slip differential".
The car looks unmodded but maybe it was "returned to normal". 3 owners. 11,903 miles. Not a fan of the wheels.
Tough call.
Thoughts?

In addition to what others have said, the 14-15s have stiffer spring rates, dampers, and slightly different sway bars. All this adds up to a harsher ride for a DD - but they’re also tail-happy for lift off oversteer
So if I want to "track" it but leave it fairly stock, sounds like I want to change from "20xx" year to 2014/15 suspension. Stiffer front AND rear springs?

It comes with torque vectoring - uses the front brakes to act like an LSD. Nowhere near as efficient and not technically an LSD in any way. Unless they have a receipt for the install then I would ignore it. Post the link and we can review and spot any "return to stock" evidence.

I see it now. The LSD was auto-populated so it's not likely to be there. No engine bay shots. It's got black lugnuts so somebody changed those out. I don't think someone who have done that if they didn't know that the stock ones are an issue.

They have it listed on the mechanical page as "brake-actuated limited slip differential". That's not a differential. But the car's ESC uses the brakes to enhance handling. Torque vectoring, as mentioned above. That's stock.

The wheels are the original factory wheels. It still has the original equipment RE050A tires. This looks to be a completely stock, fully loaded car. It has pretty much every option that was available. It only has 12,000 miles. They have it priced at just a little bit more than what it stickered at. But their $4000 "dealer discount" brings it down to about what the original purchaser probably paid for it. I know because we have the identical car (except a different color) we bought new in 2019.
