I certainly can guess why. So you've obviously got a connection here, but if you want another input, the offer stands, I'd be happy to talk to you. If not, hopefully we will run into each other at some point, I rarely see Fiesta STs around here as I mentioned.
Absolutely, we’ll have to get together for a cruise at the very least

Saw another Fiesta ST (magnetic grey on black stock wheels) around north Raleigh on the way back from a coffee run this morning! Jumped out of my seat hahaa. Had my yellow fogs blasting so hello if you're here! ;)

Saw a Molten Orange FiST southbound on I-40 right before the Harrison Ave exit. It had a bike rack on the back. Was that anyone on here?

Here's a better picture of the FiST in Apex. I like the blue with the bronze wheels

Saw a magnetic ST with black stock rims, I actually did a delivery to the owners house. Anyone on here live between Maynard and lake pine in Cary?

NC homies - Do inspection stations still just run an OBD2 scan, or do they visually inspect for catalytic converters?

Oof, not sure, but my brothers car just failed inspection for no cat. They didn't need to visually inspect it because they could smell it.

Just depends. Technically they are supposed to check for emissions equipment, but a lot of them don't. Tires, lights and OBD2 are definitely top of the list.

Oh yeah. If there’s a visual inspection I’m gonna be in trouble lol. No cat and screamer pipe. But that’s on the turbo kit that’s not currently installed so I’m good for now as I have a high flow cat

Yeah I fully expect the safety inspection to be 100% adhered to, and that they’ll check my window tint. Not sure if they’ll check my windshield which is also tinted. It’s 70% so hard to tell and I don’t believe their meters can actually measure it anyways.

Anyone interested in meeting up at VIR’s annual charity laps on 11/11?

Pops and I have been going every year since I was in college. If weather is good I’ll have the fiesta out there and he’ll have his cobra. Pic from the last one. It’s not real racing by any mean but it’s a cheap way to get on the track, lots of fun, and a good cause.

Thanks for letting us know, it definitely sounds like a good cause. At this point I'm tied up then, I'll let you know if something changes.

Yup I'm going was just waiting to see if my wife could get the day off.
What time do you typically go? and anything I need to know I don't get out of the house much, so I'm clueless.

I usually spend most of the day. The minivans and pickup trucks leave by evening and you can actually get some decent laps in. I’ll keep you posted on what time I plan on getting there.
