Traded my 160k mile WRX Hatch for this lovely 50k mile one owner, she came with a mishimoto intercooler, Cobb rear mount, and a Cobb axle back. I bought a Mishimoto CAI and installed yesterday, I have performance pads/rotors and a Cobb AP in the mail. Ready for some track days soon, if anyone has suggestions on cheap track wheels that would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! I think you'll like the FiST the more you drive it. That's been my experience, anyway.
I can't give any advice about track wheels, but lighter wheels can definitely be felt. The stockers are pretty heavy.
I'm sure you can find a lot of info here. Keep an eye out in the FS section. People sell wheels occasionally.

Oh I already love this thing, in fact, it's so on point I'm selling my 99 Civic track car because it ticks just about every FWD box for me.

IF you're just stage 2 then i'm like stage 50*I remember my first beer....[ridinghorse]
I'm going to run the Cobb stg 2 a bit then hit up dizzy, hopefully get some 225s with lighter rims on there. Ultimately depending on how it feels I'll probably end up with the hybrid turbo and suspension but I want to enjoy each incremental step along the way, I've had enough projects to know if you don't enjoy the journey it ends up being a soul crushing money pit instead of a fun rewarding experience.

So maybe someone can point me in the right direction here, I purchased a V2 AP from a guy, it came in today, part number is correct and the AP is unmarried, but when I connect to my car it states my car is incompatible. IDK what the problem is, finding info on the compatibility everything shows up correct. Am I just screwed? He seems like a decent dude so I think I can return it, if that ends up being the route where the hell can I find something cheap to flash tuns onto the car with? I use and old phone for peripheral gauges and logging so the V3 is kinda a waste to me, are there any other options or is it locked down to Cobb for flashing?

Maybe talk to Cobb.

Yeah I thought about it but I have a feeling at this point anything V2 related will end in them telling me I'm SOL. I bit the bullet on a full priced V3 from Dizzy with a tune included, the guy that sold me the V2 is letting me send it back so only lost the $50 I'm kicking him for the trouble. I still can't find any info on the compatibility, my theory is the V3 came out in 2015 so they did it to drive purchases to their new product.

A lot of owners on here are running Konig wheels. The wheel options are pretty wack with 4X108 wheels. If this car is going to be tracked or driven spiritedly on a consistent basis, I would suggest planning a radiator upgrade in the future as well, a lot of owners have over heating problems. Depending on your budget overall for the build, I'd recommend you throw in an LSD to get way better corner speeds.

Thank you!

Yeah the wheel selection is underwhelming. I am planning on a new radiator sooner than later, LSD will be when I need a clutch in all honesty inspite of being a wrench for 8 years (in IT now) I loath big projects on my daily. But if I get annoyed enough with the traction maybe I'll get to it sooner, so annoying that an LSD isnt a more standard option obviously cost is the driving factor but pretending brake "vectoring" is a legitimate alternative is a joke. That was one thing I hated about my WRX it was the first generation to have open diffs front and rear in favor of ABS driven slip mitigation and that shit is just not the same.
